In tonight’s Unexpected episode, at Tyra and Alex’s, Tiarra is back at home for a doctor’s appointment. She has brought Ella with her. She heads out to the doctors. Tiarra likes being home because back at her new home with Dee she does a lot alone since he works so much. She needs to go to this appointment because she has been having some type of contractions.
At the doctors, Tiarra discusses her iron pills, contractions, and scheduling a c-section. She has her labs checked. Meanwhile, Emersyn and Mason go to child birthing classes. Mason is surprised to learn the size of the babies. They move on to how to measure nipples. They discuss if men can lactate. As classes move forward, Mason feels ready to be a dad. Emersyn doesn’t feel fully ready.
Jenna’s parents both attend Luca’s baptism. They both act petty towards one another. Jenna believes if they were not her parents she wouldn’t associate with them. Her parents made her childhood terrible for her. At the baptism, Jenna’s mom sits front row. Jenna’s dad gets annoyed.
Lilly and Lawrence are moving out on their own. Lilly did all the packing. Lawrence is supposed to do the actual moving. He has been working his new job and is tired. The two bicker over their responsibilities.
Kylen and Jason meet with Lizzie, his cousin. She gives them hand-me-downs and advice for having a baby since she has had a child. She gives them a fake baby they name Keegan so they can practice. Jason already feels ready.
Jason is an only child. His dad tells him he needs to work at being a dad and that he is a grandfather, not a father. Jason better be ready and motivated. Later, Jason and Kyle sit together and try to figure out why Keegan is crying.
Taylor comes to visit Tiarra and Tyra. She is pregnant with her second child. They discuss how they were accused of a pregnancy pact but that is not true. Taylor is with Noah, who is Tiarra and Tyra’s fourth cousin. Taylor points out that she and Noah are not related. The two have been on and off. They all swim at Tiarra and Tyra’s house. They all BBQ.
Separately, Taylor and Noah discuss their on and off the relationship and how they didn’t use protection which led to her second pregnancy. He worries about finances.
Lawrence gets into an argument with Lilly and her mom when their plans for the move fall through. They asked him to get his friends to help. He didn’t do it and Lilly’s friends couldn’t help.
