Tonight’s episode begins with the bachelorette party, Tina has still not spoken to Meghan about her moving out. Tina decides to get drunk, she just can’t find the nerve to tell Meghan and when she gets home she has to tell Johnnie she didn’t do it.
The lades go for a pub crawl, but they have to cycle through it. Vannessa thinks it is a good plan, they can lose the calories they take in. The arrive at stop one and they have to descend the “stone stairs of death,” which are really steep. Meghan decides that she is going to crawl down. Vannessa will not go down, she feels like she could fall, it is too dangerous. The other three make it down. Vannessa is upset, it didn’t make her feel good, but she will get over it. Next, the women have to make their way back up and Ashley brought Vannessa a drink. Meghan is having a hard time, she has fallen on steps a lot in her life.
It is evening time, the women are all taking shots and getting ready to for their evening. There is a knock on the door, there is a man and he says there have been noise complaints. He looks in a closet and asks the women who owns the contraband. He is just joking, he is a stripper and there’s more, another man comes in and they are both getting naked.
The next day the women are all hungover, but they get dressed and go tea party. After that, it is retail therapy with sugar free chocolate.
At night, the ladies sit down for drinks and Meghan is having doubts about getting married. She is afraid of marriage, she wants it, but she is afraid of making mistakes.
The women start talking about surgery, all of their lives are about to change.
Meghan has her appointment with Dr. Procter and Tina is going with her. Tina talks about her recent appointments. She still has to figure out a time that she can tell Meghan about her moving out. They arrive in the office, Meghan says she is planning her wedding but she was good at the cake testing. She weighs in and she weights 289, she did good, her goal was 300. He congratulates her, she is 30 pounds down. She tells him that she is trying to love herself. Dr. Procter then tells Tina that she is approved for surgery and she is thrilled, this is a big deal. She is happy, excited, nervous, scared, but she wants to take this next step. She says for so long she wanted it, but she is so scared. Dr. Procter thinks the surgery will improve Tina’s health, live longer to see her kids grow up.
Tina is looking forward to surgery and having her life back.
It’s the morning of Tina and Ashley’s surgeries. Ashley’s mom and sister are driving in with her for support. At Tina’s house, Meghan tells the kids that they should help clean the house so it is all done when mom gets back. Meghan goes in to see Tina who is scared, she is worried something can go wrong, she has four kids and a husband.
It’s time to leave and Meghan is concerned that Tina is still in bed. She tries to give her words of encouragement. Tina is upset, she says she is mad at herself for putting herself in this position that she needs bariatric surgery. Meghan can’t believe that she is backing out and she knows deep down that Tina wants this surgery. Tina starts shouting, she is not going, her mind is set.
