Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates for Thursday, September 21 tease feuding widows and inquiring minds. Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) continue feuding, and the inquiring mind of Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) wants details from Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) about her relationship.
Vivian and Maggie continue to feud over who is really Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) widow and who inherits Titan and the rest of Victor’s estate.
The argument concludes when Vivian fires Maggie. In the meantime, the search for a letter in Greece concluded with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) finding an empty box – Victor must have taken them.
The letter in question was in the metal briefcase Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) had which he was looking to give Brady and Alex.
The complete contents of the box were in the briefcase, which Shane’s daughter Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) had broken into.
Theresa raises Brady and Alex’s suspicions when they return to their hotel room in Greece and find her with the briefcase.
It was the only item retrieved intact from the plane crash that Victor died in, and when they see Theresa, Brady tells her they know what she’s been up to.
The big question will be if Theresa had enough time to either hide or replace documents inside the briefcase, she had found the letters.
Most were love letters to Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay) that she had returned to Victor unread. Brady, knowing Theresa all too well, naturally suspects she’s pulled off some type of scam!
Mother’s inquiring minds want to know what is going on in their children’s relationships, and Kayla is no different; she likely wants to know if there might be marriage plans ahead.
Kayla pushes her daughter Stephanie for more details about her relationship with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) who is her cousin Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) widower.
In the meantime, Chad is at work and is shocked by who his new boss is-perhaps he finds Vivian in Maggie’s chair-Vivian wouldn’t have the faintest idea how to run Titan.
Vivian has long fancied herself a businesswoman, and tried to take over Alamain Enterprises years ago, but was foiled when John Black (Drake Hogestyn) inherited it.
Vivian did work for Titan Enterprises for a very short time, when she was still married to Victor-but even then, she was fired, and their marriage ended in a bitter divorce.
