Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 27, reveals that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) admitted one thing led to another with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) upstairs and told Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that they were taking her advice about a romance behind closed doors.
Kate was pleased over Jada’s news, but she continued to worry about Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Jada eventually got some updates on a new lead and had to rush off to the pier.
Meanwhile, Rafe and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) grilled Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.), who looked at a picture of Abe and claimed that was indeed the man who fell into the river.
Eli wound up refusing to wait for the scuba team and dove in the water himself, but he saw no sign of a body.
Since Abe had signed up to be a bone marrow donor, his blood sample was still on file at the hospital.
Eli decided to go check out the results of the test comparing Abe’s blood to the blood on the pylon.
However, Eli had a bleak view of the whole situation on Tuesday’s Days episode and told Rafe they knew how this would end.
After Jada arrived on the pier, Rafe gave her the latest details and let Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) call go to voicemail.
Until they had more than circumstantial evidence and Jerry’s word, Rafe didn’t want to alarm Paulina.
Unfortunately, Eli called Rafe from the hospital to confirm that the blood from the pylon matched Abe’s.
Rafe teared up since he knew what this meant and learned Eli wanted to go tell Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) the sad news in person.
After Rafe filled Jada in and got a hug, they both headed to Paulina’s apartment.
Although Theo gave Paulina a pep talk urging her not to lose hope, Rafe and Jada showed up with a devastating report.
As Rafe tried to explain Abe’s grim fate, Paulina sat down in shock and kept shouting no. Although Paulina didn’t want to believe it was true, Rafe and Jada told her they were so sorry.
At Whitley King’s (Kim Coles) place, Abe suggested going to the park since it was such a nice day outside.
Whitley kept trying to talk Abe out of it, but Jerry arrived and backed “Pops” up about enjoying his adventure.
While Abe was picking out a shirt to wear, Jerry argued with Whitley since she’d dragged him into a criminal investigation involving the mayor.
After Jerry demanded more money on Tuesday’s Days show, Whitley turned the tables and suggested Jerry was the one committing all the crimes.
Once Whitley suggested she could pin all this on Jerry and send him to Statesville, he changed his tune and told Abe it was best if he stayed inside.
In the park on Tuesday’s Days episode, Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) seriously doubted that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) would take her down if she tried to run.
Despite Megan’s attempt to bolt, armed Harris pulled her back and insisted he was taking her somewhere to experience new levels of misery.
Once Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) got Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) settled in a lab, he showed up and put a tranquilizer dart through Harris’ neck.
Harris ultimately fell to the ground unconscious, so Li texted Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) back posing as Harris to tell her that the mission was accomplished.
As for Megan on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, she was pleased to have Harris back in her clutches.
Harris woke up in Dr. Rolf’s lab and learned he’d soon be under Megan’s control again, so he fumed in his restraints.
