Days of Our Lives Recap: Tuesday, May 30 – Sarah Demands Bonnie’s Baby Daddy Silence – Alex Rejects Maggie’s Offer

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 30, reveals that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) paid Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) a visit in her hotel room and informed her that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) would be their new ad sales director, so Gwen initially put up a fight.

Once Xander accused Gwen of being jealous, he finally got her to relent – though Gwen pointed out that it’d come out of Xander’s half of the profits when this decision turned out to be a disaster.

Meanwhile, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) showed up on Chloe’s doorstep and pushed her to return to her old job at Basic Black, especially since she’d be working for such horrible people at The Spectator.

Xander came home to find Brady trashing him, so Brady left instead of letting this escalate into a big fight.

When Xander confirmed that he was able to get Chloe The Spectator job as promised, she smiled and shook on the deal.

When Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) showed up to see Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), he wasn’t happy about Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) answering the door.

Stephanie and Alex had been drinking beer together, so Chad wondered what was going on.

After Chad found out Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) fired Alex, he laughed about it being like if Alex got canned by Good Witch Glinda and said that must be humiliating.

Alex left to avoid even more humiliation, so Stephanie scolded Chad a bit for giving him a hard time.

Chad didn’t understand how Stephanie could forgive Alex and offer comfort over this firing fiasco.

Stephanie eventually got Chad’s mind on other things, so they made love on the sofa and discussed Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).

Dimitri claimed he waned to bond with the DiMera family, but Chad felt he was actually coming to Salem to destroy it.

In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Alex ran into Gwen and hoped he could apply for the ad sales director job, but Gwen admitted Xander just hired Chloe.

When Gwen proposed the idea of distracting each other from their troubles, Alex declined to hit the sheets with Gwen – though they still parted ways on pleasant terms.

Afterward on Tuesday’s DOOL show, Brady bumped into Gwen and pointed out that they had a mutual problem.

Once Brady pushed Gwen to make sure Chloe didn’t get The Spectator job, Gwen said it was too late since she already gave Xander permission to hire her.

Brady also found out Alex needed a job, so he offered to hire him at Basic Black since he was swamped without Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) there.

Once Brady talked about Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) dangling the CEO spot like a carrot for so many years, he said the best thing he ever did was get off that treadmill.

Brady pushed Alex to declare his independence and come work for him at Basic Black instead.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) begged Maggie to give Alex another chance, so she finally agreed that Alex could start back to work tomorrow.

When Alex came home and found out he could come back to Titan, he declined the offer since he already had a new job at Basic Black.

In Chicago on Tuesday’s Days episode, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) showed up at Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) place to see her grandbaby, but she could only peek in on Emily Brady since she was already asleep.

While Bonnie was out of the room, a visibly pregnant Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) arrived with amazing updates regarding a patient on the clinical research trial that she’d been working on with Rex.

Bonnie heard Sarah’s voice before Rex could get rid of her, so Sarah turned around and tried to hide her baby bump with her bag.

Of course, Bonnie saw that Sarah was pregnant anyway and assumed she’d been keeping Xander’s baby a secret.

Rex piped up and insisted he was the father, so Sarah backed him up and acted like this was the result of the rebound she had with him before leaving for Chicago.

Bonnie wasn’t buying it on Tuesday’s Days episode, so Sarah admitted Bonnie was right and confirmed that it was Xander’s baby.

That said, Sarah warned this wasn’t Bonnie’s news to tell and refused to listen to Bonnie’s claims that Xander had changed.

Although Bonnie felt Xander deserved the truth, Sarah pushed her to promise that she wouldn’t spill anything.

“No one in Salem can find out that Xander is the father of my baby…no one!” Sarah declared.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Bonnie could face some difficulties when it comes to keeping this shocker under wraps!
