Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 14, reveals that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) showed up at Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) place, where he was mulling over all the Abe Carver (James Reynolds) leads with John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Paulina was frustrated since none of them had panned out, especially since it seemed like Steve and John were just guessing on a lot of things.
However, Paulina ultimately calmed down and appreciated the fact that Abe’s closest friends were on the case.
There was talk about Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles) being the last person to see Abe before he disappeared, but Paulina insisted she didn’t know anything.
Although John and Steve didn’t have answers yet, they felt confident that they’d find the person who had Abe stashed away and bring him home.
At Whitley’s apartment on Wednesday’s Days episode, Abe rewatched the clip of his mayoral acceptance speech and confronted “Paulina” when she returned.
Whitley insisted that Abe’s time as mayor was short-lived and claimed that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) got him impeached.
When Abe pushed for details, Whitley said that Abe cheated – though she was quick to blame it on his shady campaign manager, Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain).
Whitley urged Abe not to worry about any of that since it was all in the past, but he argued that the story she was telling him didn’t feel right.
After Whitley suggested Abe’s memory loss might be a good thing, he lashed out since he needed to remember what kind of man he was.
Whitley dashed into the kitchen to warm up the fish sticks and later ate with Abe as they watched Body and Soul.
Since there was a character in the show with amnesia who’d been held against his will, Whitley seemed nervous and ultimately turned it off.
At the DiMera mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) made love to Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) multiple times and joked about how it might kill him.
Gabi didn’t want Stefan kidding around like that since she worried something could take him away again, but he assured her that wouldn’t happen.
Stefan also worked out a special menu with Cook so he could have dinner on the terrace with Gabi after they showered together, so she was delighted.
Downstairs on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) hung up on Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) after realizing EJ had been eavesdropping.
EJ assumed that when Megan said her brother wasn’t long for this world, she meant him.
Since EJ obviously wasn’t happy about Megan plotting his demise, he ordered her out of the house.
Megan refused to go, so Stefan threatened to call security until Megan grabbed his hand to stop him.
After Megan pushed EJ to let her explain, she clarified that it was Stefan she wanted to kill and called EJ an idiot.
Megan felt that with Stefan out of the way, it’d free up a much larger slice of the DiMera pie for her as well as EJ.
Nevertheless, EJ refused to go along with Megan’s plan to kill their brother, who was a decent human being. Megan scoffed at that, but EJ threatened to tell Gabi and Stefan what she was plotting.
That led to Megan knocking EJ out with a vase and dragging him into the passageway for the DiMera tunnels.
When Gabi and Stefan appeared, Megan shut the secret door and left them wondering about the voice they just heard.
At home on Wednesday’s Days episode, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) grilled Li after overhearing him making plans over the phone.
Li made up a bogus story about hiring a matchmaker and showed Wendy his final divorce decree.
Wendy was proud of Li for accepting that it was over with Gabi and quizzed him for all the matchmaker details.
Li said this particular matchmaker came highly recommended and lied about a review saying she had a killer instinct when it came to giving someone their heart’s desire.
