Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will remain down in the dumps over losing Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Of course, Alex also feels terrible about his role in destroying Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) relationship with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
The hits will keep coming once Alex faces some bad news regarding a promotion at Titan.
Although Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) is headed to New Zealand, it doesn’t look like Alex will slide right in the CEO spot like he plans.
Other Days spoilers say Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will keep dealing with problems of her own.
Although Sloan and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) have had a friends-with-benefits thing going on, it’s obvious that Sloan’s feelings run deeper.
Just when Sloan was probably starting to see the potential of a real romance, Eric betrayed her for a plot with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to free Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton).
Now that any trust has been destroyed, Sloan may drown her sorrows and cross paths with Alex at the bar.
Sloan previously ended another casual hookup situation with Alex, but they may decide to revive it.
As Alex and Sloan battle mutual anger and heartbreak, it’d be easy for them to fall back into bed together.
Since Sloan and Alex have been learning some tough lessons lately, they might focus on hooking up for a while.
Days spoilers say Eric and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) are on the verge of sniffing around each other again, so Sloan might use Alex to cope with that development.
After all, Sloan will want to seem like she’s perfectly fine and can replace Eric at a moment’s notice. If Alex can stir up a little jealousy for Eric, that’s even better.
Naturally, it’s possible Sloan and Alex could make the most of a fresh-start romance on Days.
Instead of just being hookup partners, Alex and Sloan could perhaps try being a real DOOL couple.
Regardless, Sloan and Alex will have to make more updates to their love lives, so they might as well commiserate a bit and try to bring each other comfort.
