Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) romance is just getting started, but a big snag is already headed their way.
Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) suggested that Harris should get a job at the Salem PD, so he’ll be hired by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) soon.
Days is laying the groundwork for Harris to become a cop, which certainly fits with his attempt to live a respectable life.
DOOL fans know Ava would like to stay on the right path too, but Clyde Weston (James Read) will make that impossible when he threatens Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and puts Ava in a dreadful position.
It turns out Clyde wants Ava to take over his drug business, so he may think her background with the Vitali mob family will serve her well.
Ava will try to protest over the news, but Days spoilers say Clyde will have her right where he wants her.
After Clyde sends a patient (James Simenc) to attack Tripp at the hospital, Ava will know that he means business.
That’s why Ava will presumably agree to run Clyde’s drug business once he explains everything during her prison visit.
Ava won’t like this at all, but she won’t know what else she’s supposed to do if she wants to keep Tripp safe.
Of course, this could lead to Ava keeping criminal secrets from Harris while he begins a new career upholding the law!
That could set the stage for suspicions and trust issues in this relationship right off the bat.
On the other hand, Ava might put Harris in a tight spot if she eventually comes clean.
If Harris ends up covering for Ava, he could put his new job in jeopardy and risk criminal charges of his own.
Regardless, it sounds like a romantic mess is in store for Days fans, so it’ll be interesting to see if Harris and Ava’s budding love can survive the obstacles.
