Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Deidre Hall’s 5,000th episode recently aired, so that led to a celebration behind the scenes as well. The show had a little party for Hall, which included several costars who also happened to be filming.
Some pics were snapped, so we can’t help but notice Blake Berris (Nick Fallon) in the back row.
Nick is currently deceased, but the show’s still found ways to include him in recent years – like in a Halloween special and as the devil’s assistant in what was essentially purgatory.
It’s clear that Berris is on board for Days return stints and has a good relationship with the show.
Since Berris was spotted on set, we can assume he’s making a DOOL comeback of some sort.
Of course, the real question is: Will Nick be dead or alive? In a town like Salem, it can be hard to predict!
It’s possible Blake Berris will reprise his Days role in ghostly form, especially if Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) finds herself in need of someone to talk to.
Julie always had a unique bond with Cousin Nick and wished things could’ve turned out differently for him.
It’s easy to imagine some scenario where Julie imagines Nick and has a conversation with him.
However, that doesn’t really seem like an exciting enough reason to warrant Nick’s return. There may be far more to the story if Nick shows back up alive!
It’s also possible Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) will work his magic again in some shocking way – or maybe some other character has kept the real Nick stashed all this time.
It’d be simple to explain away the Nick who died as an imposter.
Then again, we’ve seen that the show’s willing to give actors new roles – like when Robert Scott Wilson switched from playing Ben Weston to Alex Kiriakis.
There’s a chance that Blake Berris could be playing a whole new character, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Since Days films several months in advance, it’ll take some time before Berris finally airs again. Even so, this gives DOOL fans something to look forward to!
