Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) will score a serious sum of money if he ties the knot before his 40th birthday, which is happening in around three months. This was presumably an arrangement that Dimitri’s father wanted.
Of course, DOOL fans know Dimitri isn’t even dating anyone at the moment, so he needs to get the ball rolling on a relationship that could end in marriage.
Although Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) will initially suggest Dimitri should marry Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll eventually get talked out of the idea.
Just when Megan starts wondering where they can find a bride for Dimitri, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will walk through the door.
Days spoilers say Gwen will want to interview Dimitri for The Spectator since he’s the newest DiMera in town.
However, Gwen could join the DiMera family as well if Dimitri can sweep her off her feet – or at least convince her to wed for the sake of the inheritance!
Maybe it could even be a case of marrying for both love and money if it all works out.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Megan will push Dimitri to give Gwen the interview she wants and do his best to charm her.
There’ll be some challenges along the way, but Dimitri and Gwen may end up planning a wedding soon like Megan hopes.
That brings us to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) wedding date since they recently set one.
Gabi and Stefan decided to keep their old anniversary, so they’re hoping to remarry on July 31.
It’s easy to imagine Dimitri and Gwen piggybacking on that marriage ceremony under the circumstances.
There’s a limited amount of time to put this wedding together – not to mention Gwen and Dimitri aren’t going to have many guests anyway.
Although Gabi would hate the idea of sharing her big day with Gwen, Stefan might talk her into it since they really need Megan’s vote and support to oust EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Dimitri presumably has some shares coming his way too, so Days spoilers say it would benefit Gabi and Stefan to get on his good side.
As part of that plan, Stefan and Gabi may have to turn this into a double wedding.
Based on the timing of when this “Stabi” marriage ceremony is happening and Dimitri’s need for a speedy marriage of his own, combining the nuptials makes sense.
