Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) could quite strike the bargain in hopes of saving the people he cares about. DOOL fans know Eric has become a bit of a lost soul, so he’s just the kind of character the devil would target.
Even before the latest deadly Days drama, Eric was spinning out.
After a lifetime of trying to be the good twin, Eric decided he was sick of it and took his turn being a bad twin instead.
That came on the heels of Eric losing his chance to be a father and blaming Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) for it, which meant losing the love of his life, too.
Eric has been battling some tough inner demons while watching his life fall apart.
Days fans can’t forget how Eric pulled a gun on Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and nearly shot her, so he’s got a lot of built-up fury.
Eric is doing sinister things he wouldn’t normally do and is a far cry from the devoted priest he once was.
Of course, Eric tried to find his faith again when Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was knocking on death’s door, but he didn’t get the miracle he asked for.
That left Eric feeling like God wasn’t listening to him anymore, so he skipped going to the chapel with the others after Marlena was gone.
Eric’s definitely having a real crisis of faith right now, so that seems important – especially now that we know the devil’s stirring up trouble again.
The devil posed as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) and duped Marlena, so the goal seems to be claiming her soul for hell.
However, there has to be a way out of this mess for dead Marlena, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Eric’s fall from grace could be the answer since Days has set him up as such an ungodly character lately.
It’s easy to imagine Eric going on another drinking binge and suddenly getting a visit from the devil in some form.
Will the devil want to strike a deal with Eric for the women’s return from the dead?
Eric might be willing to sell his own soul or at least offer up his body as a new possession host.
Perhaps Eric will let the devil take over if it means Marlena, Kayla and Kate get a second chance at life.
If Eric takes the deal, maybe the devil will get out of the way and let a miracle be granted for all three women.
It could leave the devil more eager to inflict torment on the earth instead – specifically in Salem.
Regardless, Eric’s downward spiral will surely tie in with all the devil chaos.
It sounds like Eric may make some updates to his strategy and seek a disturbing bargain to ease his own pain.
Eric is usually responsible for helping drive the devil out, but this former priest may become the reason the devil is allowed back into Salem.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric’s potential devil deal could mean good news for the deceased women and bad news for Eric himself!
