Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, July 21, reveal that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will stop by Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) place to see how she’s coping after the loss of Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Paulina may admit it’s been hard and assume that Kate’s faced her own struggles due to Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) presumed demise.
However, Kate will confess that Philip is actually alive and receiving treatment at a fancy mental health center.
As for the topic of Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) going missing, we’ll see if Paulina chooses to confide that info to Kate or keep the news to herself.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will carry out an urgent search with Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) help, so they’ll look for clues and try to figure out where Lani might be.
At Whitley King’s (Kim Coles) apartment, she’ll have Lani tied up so that she can’t go anywhere and spill her secret.
Lani will try to convince Whitley to let her take Abe back to his real wife and family, but Whitley will be determined to keep Abe for herself.
In fact, Whitley will be determined enough to plot a grim fate for Lani!
Days spoilers say Whitley will decide Lani can’t live to tell this tale, so she’ll move forward with a plan to get rid of her permanently.
Next on Friday’s DOOL episode, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will bust Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.) before he can take a bus headed for parts unknown.
Jerry will finally reveal a shocker, so it sounds like he’ll admit Abe is alive and being held hostage at Whitley’s place.
Back with Jada and Rafe, Days spoilers say they’ll eventually barge through Whitley’s door and find Lani unresponsive on the floor.
Of course, Whitley may make a last-ditch effort to escape with Abe, but his time in her clutches come to an end soon.
Until then, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will tell Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) about Whitley being her former patient.
Whitley was likely in therapy following her husband’s passing, so Marlena may hint about her having some unresolved issues related to her grief.
