Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will take matters into her own hands. Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) backed out of his deprogramming decision – though he doesn’t think it matters anyway since Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) is missing.
Now Stefan is convinced that the brainwashing didn’t make a difference.
Stefan feels like he would’ve hated Gabi on his own eventually, so he’s not concerned about trying to undo the damage anymore.
Nevertheless, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will give Gabi a confidence boost during the week of January 23-27.
After apologizing for keeping Stefan’s programming a secret, Wendy will urge Gabi to keep fighting for him and hope for positive news.
Days spoilers say Gabi will go to extremes when she bashes Stefan in the head and throws him into captivity.
Once Gabi finds out where Dr. Rolf is, she’ll convince him to do the deprogramming against Stefan’s will.
When Stefan awakens during the week of January 30-February 3, Gabi will hope for an instant fix.
Although Gabi will imagine a heartfelt DOOL reunion, that’s not going to happen right away.
Days spoilers say Gabi will fear a deprogramming disaster since it’ll seem like her whole plan has flopped.
Stefan may awaken and rip into Gabi even harder for her latest round of selfish, conniving behavior.
However, we’d argue that’s a pretty rational response for someone who was knocked out cold, held hostage and forced to let a mad scientist scramble his brain again.
Why wouldn’t Stefan wake up angry about all that?
Of course, Stefan’s attitude may also be due to the nature of Dr. Rolf’s deprogramming procedure.
This is all very experimental, so maybe the best Rolf will be able to do is a Stefan emotional reset.
In other words, Stefan may revert to the mental state he had before he fell in love with Gabi.
Days spoilers suggest Dr. Rolf will be able to give Stefan his freewill back, but Gabi may still have to win Stefan over.
Fortunately, Gabi and Stefan had a whole “enemies to lovers” plot where their hatred basically got them all hot and bothered.
By riling Stefan up like this, it could actually get Gabi a step closer to landing back in bed with him.
Gabi can still turn Stefan on – even if he wakes up loathing her like the early days of their relationship.
As long as Stefan isn’t actually programmed to hate Gabi anymore, he’ll have the freewill to choose her.
