Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will find himself in familiar territory. DOOL fans will recall that Harris really struggled after Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) previous programming did so much damage.
It wasn’t until Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) reconnected with Harris that he fully committed to his treatment and got the help he needed.
Sadly, Harris has been programmed once again thanks to Megan’s latest scheme.
Without Hope around to pull him out of this, Days spoilers say Harris just won’t see a path forward – at least not at first.
During the week of July 10-14, Harris will undergo hypnosis as Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) tries to break the hold this brainwashing has over him.
Marlena will hope that she can convince Harris to dig deep and get back to normal.
Harris is a good guy at heart, so he doesn’t deserve to be stuck as this trained monster that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) created for Megan.
Unfortunately, Harris won’t have a lot of faith when it comes to Marlena’s methods.
Days spoilers say Marlena’s hypnosis will apparently work enough for Harris to realize there’s a problem, but he won’t trust himself.
Harris will still worry that he could snap and hurt Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) or anyone else in his path.
That’s why Harris will beg Marlena to send him away where he won’t pose a threat.
According to Days spoilers, Harris will think he belongs in Bayview and will insist Marlena should have him committed for the safety of Salem.
Of course, Marlena may think that’s extreme, especially since Harris will be showing positive signs of responding to the treatment.
Perhaps Marlena will feel like Bayview should only be a last resort if all else fails.
Will Marlena be able to break Harris free completely? Will hypnosis be enough to deprogram Harris or will he need a harsher form of treatment like last time?
Whatever the case, Marlena will get updates on Harris’ scrambled brain and do her best to help, so stay tuned for news on her next steps.
