Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a couple of new actors have joined the show and will become part of Salem’s latest teen scene. CDL previously reported on the buzz about Jamie Martin Mann playing an aged-up Tate Donovan and Ashley Puzemis portraying a teenage Holly Jonas – and now SOD has confirmed the news.
Tate was recently expelled from boarding school, so it’s no surprise that he’s headed home to Salem. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) are Tate’s parents, so they’ll be very involved in Tate’s storyline moving forward.
Of course, we should mention that Emily O’Brien will soon trade the role of Gwen Rizczech for the part of Theresa Donovan.
Days fans will have to get used to Theresa’s new face while adjusting to a slightly older Tate as well.
As for teen Holly, it’ll be interesting to see how she feels about Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) imminent marriage to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) – especially since she previously considered Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) a father figure.
Then again, Holly might end up holding a grudge against Eric now that she’s older and able to truly understand the situation.
DOOL viewers will recall that drunk-driver Eric was to blame for the demise of Holly’s biological father, Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian).
Regardless, Holly will inevitably kick off a new teen romance with Tate, who could easily drag her into some trouble! Nicole may have her hands full once sparks fly between Tate and Holly down the road.
Days spoilers indicate that Jamie Martin Mann will make his debut as a Tate Donovan recast during the week of October 9-13 – and that’s when Ashley Puzemis will make her debut as a Holly Jonas recast, too.
