Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, January 23, tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will refuse to give up on “Doc” just yet. Although Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) just died in John’s arms on the roof, he’ll rush her back down to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and beg her to do something.
DOOL fans can expect Sarah to try everything she can to revive Marlena, but her efforts will be futile.
There’ll be no shocking Marlena’s heart back to life this time, so Sarah will insist she’s done everything possible to save her.
That’ll bring a tough blow for John as well as the rest of Marlena’s loved ones.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will pray for Marlena’s miraculous recovery, but they’ll soon get updates on Marlena’s death instead.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will get some infuriating news.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) have been bonding again, so Allie isn’t going to be happy about that.
In fact, Allie will find out about Chanel nearly kissing her ex-husband, so Chanel may admit her close moment with Johnny or have another one that Allie sees for herself.
Over with Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), she’ll run into Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) following his Bayview visit.
Unfortunately, that visit must’ve been a rough one since Tripp will be distraught over Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) mental state.
Days spoilers say Tripp will lean on Wendy for support as he deals with Ava’s decline, but Johnny won’t think Ava deserves any sympathy after what she did to Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Once Johnny comes along and flies into a rage, he’ll be ready to throw a punch at Tripp sooner or later.
However, the focus will ultimately be on Marlena’s grim fate and her family members’ bedside goodbyes.
Some emotional Days moments are in store as word of Marlena’s demise starts to spread.
