Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Clyde Weston’s (James Read) list of enemies just keeps getting longer, so there’s a chance one of them will try to take him out. That plan could get tricky since Clyde is currently locked up at Statesville, but many Salemites know how to get creative.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) recently threatened Clyde, but he doesn’t really want to do anything that’d put his release in jeopardy down the road.
Since Days spoilers say Lucas will get out of prison in the coming months, he won’t be the one who personally causes Clyde’s grim fate.
However, Lucas will share some DOOL scenes with Orpheus (George DelHoyo) eventually, so there’s the potential for the pair to strike a deal.
Lucas obviously hates Orpheus since he targeted Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) along with others in Salem, but Kate returned from an early grave and is fine now.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), on the other hand, remains deceased – and Lucas’ rage over that could prompt him to seek Orpheus’ help to wipe Clyde off the map.
Then again, Days fans can tell there are other Clyde enemies getting riled up.
Both Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) have been hinting that they might still want fatal revenge on Clyde.
That could lead to EJ or Chad striking a deal with Orpheus to take Clyde out for good.
There must be something that Orpheus would be willing to bargain for, so one of the DiMera brothers might do some negotiating.
Of course, that’d mean putting any anger over Orpheus’ past actions aside, but that’s something multiple Salemites might be willing to do.
This wouldn’t be about becoming Orpheus’ BFF; this would simply be about a business arrangement that’d end Clyde’s life.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) might be another Days character who’d be willing to hire a hit on Clyde.
Now that Clyde is threatening Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and forcing Ava to run his pharmaceutical empire, Ava is desperate to get Clyde off her back.
Could desperation drive Ava to get rid of Clyde permanently? Since Ava can’t do it herself outside of Statesville, she might recruit Orpheus to do the job for her.
Bottom line, there’s a growing list of Salemites who want Clyde gone forever, so one of them might team up with Orpheus to finish him off.
