Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there were some wonderful performances all around during the week of March 20-24. However, we want to take a moment to praise Robert Scott Wilson as our Days actor of the week and say welcome back to Ben Weston!
After Ben and Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) were written out on their trip sailing around the world, Wilson was given another role so he could stick around.
That led to Robert Scott Wilson’s debut as Alex Kiriakis, who’s pretty much the total opposite of Ben.
DOOL fans know Alex oozes confidence and struts around like he owns Salem.
You won’t find a Days character with more swagger than Alex, who’s well on his way to sleeping with every possible woman in town.
Ben, on the other hand, loves only Ciara and has charm in a very different way.
There’s a quiet steadiness about Ben – like a man who’s overcome a lot and is now grateful to be living the dream with the family he adores.
It was nice to see Robert Scott Wilson slide back in Ben’s shoes and get a glimpse of his blissful relationship with Ciara.
Some huge changes are happening for this Days couple since Ciara just found out she’s pregnant with baby number two!
Wilson showed off his comic side when Ben ran down the list of seafood items available through room service.
Once Ciara got queasy and ran to the bathroom, Ben’s confusion was cute and really added to the scene.
Wilson also did a great job showing Ben’s nervous excitement over the pregnancy test, which turned out to be positive.
Now Bo Weston is getting a younger sibling, so Ben’s joy was evident in Wilson’s sweet portrayal following the big news.
Ben also reflected on the loss of Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), which was a reminder of just how much she meant to him before she “died.”
We could feel Ben’s pain – and that was thanks to Wilson’s subtle shares of grief.
Wilson certainly didn’t feel like Alex is all, so he was quite successful at bringing Ben to life once again.
