Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that when two characters are heartbroken at the same time, they often end up commiserating and crossing the line. With that in mind, could Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) have a drunken one-night stand in their future?
DOOL fans know Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) pushed Gwen away in the aftermath of his divorce from Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). That was hard enough, but now Gwen’s having to watch Xander grow closer to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Days spoilers say Gwen has another tough blow coming up since she’ll find out Chloe’s moving in with Xander.
On top of all that, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) – who’s become Gwen’s much-needed distraction – will insist they shouldn’t sleep together anymore.
That could leave Gwen lonely and in search of another hookup partner, so maybe she’ll find a new one at the bar.
If so, there are good reasons to think Gwen might cross paths with a miserable Shawn.
Days viewers watched in horror as Shawn shot Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), who was finally himself again mere seconds before his son’s tragic decision.
Shawn didn’t realize that Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) had broken through Bo’s brainwashing, so he pumped a bullet into his dad and nearly sent him back to the grave.
Now Shawn will have to live with the fact that Bo’s in a coma – and there’ll be no way of knowing if or when he might come out of it.
The month of May will bring a rough patch for Shawn, so Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will have a hard time comforting him.
Days spoilers say Shawn won’t feel like he deserves Belle’s support, so he’ll push her away and create some difficulties in their marriage.
It sounds like Shawn will be in the perfect mindset to do a little self-sabotaging at the local bar.
It’s easy to imagine a drunk Shawn commiserating with an equally inebriated Gwen, so that could lead to yet another disaster.
If Shawn isn’t careful, he could easily betray his marriage vows. Will Shawn cheat on Belle with Gwen and make the whole situation even worse?
Shawn and Gwen could be on a heartbreak collision course, so it’ll be interesting to see if a one-night stand happens down the road.
