Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, August 23, reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) won’t be considered the most reliable source of information considering her fragile mental state. Ava will make some stunning claims, but there’ll be questions about whether her story can be trusted.
Sometimes Ava has trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality, so she’ll become distraught when faced with doubts about her credibility. DOOL fans can expect Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) to wrap his arms around Ava and offer some comfort soon enough.
As for Ava’s stunning claims, could this have something to do with Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) survival? Days spoilers hint that Susan is still alive, so Ava might remember something that points to her not perishing in that car crash after all.
Regardless, Ava will face some of her usual hallucinations and worry that she’s on the verge of spinning out in the worst possible way.
Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will mull over a significant choice.
It sounds like Wendy and Tripp will consider getting their own place together since Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) always seems to be in the way – especially now that he’s romantically involved with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang).
At some point, Tripp will receive an alarming phone call, so he may get updates on Ava’s hallucinations getting worse again. The news could leave Tripp deeply worried about Ava and how she’s holding up at Bayview.
Other Days spoilers say Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) will derail a moment of intimacy between Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) as the honeymoon awkwardness continues.
Leo and Dimitri will once again manage to explain away their behavior, so Gwen will remain in the dark on their romance for now.
However, there’ll be questions about the validity of Dimitri’s marriage since he rushed into it right before the cutoff date to inherit the Von Leuschner fortune. Dimitri might receive a phone call and learn his union is under investigation as a result.
Whatever the case, someone named Elliot Roth (Darren Richardson) will show up at the DiMera mansion and meet Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), who’ll do her best to cover for Dimitri and keep her piece of the Von Leuschner pie intact.
Elliot will also speak with Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) while he’s in town to verify that Dimitri’s marriage is legit.
Of course, Gabi is inching closer to the truth about Dimitri’s time between the sheets with Leo. Kristen will try to keep what she knows quiet, but Gabi will promise she’s going to uncover what Kristen’s hiding.
There’s a lot riding on Dimitri’s sham marriage, so Gabi and Stefan will inevitably unravel this mystery eventually.
