Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, October 16, reveals that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will try a softer approach with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and perhaps let herself believe that co-parenting is possible.
Sadly, Sarah will find out that Xander filed for full custody, so that’ll send Sarah flying into a rage.
Xander and Sarah’s interaction will quickly turn into a major shouting match as they prepare for the custody battle ahead.
Across town, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will dodge Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) kisses and seem likely he’s not interested in getting lovey-dovey.
Although Stephanie will be hurt and rather baffled over Chad’s response, there’ll be some deeper things going on.
Chad will be missing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) on her birthday, so that’ll affect his actions around Stephanie.
Days spoilers say Chad will turn down Stephanie’s offer to come to Abigail’s grave with him, so she’ll worry that he’s stuck on his deceased wife and might never be ready for remarriage.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Chad will speak to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) over the phone and urge him to stay away from Clyde Weston (James Read) since he’s nothing but trouble.
Unfortunately, Clyde will indeed cross paths with Lucas and make some waves for him since they’re both stuck behind bars.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will come clean about how hard they’re falling for each other, but they’ll still want to proceed with caution.
At the hospital, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will be caught off guard when a patient (James Simenc) grabs a scalpel and jabs him with it.
Days spoilers say Tripp will get patched up following his ordeal and grill Ava about her relationship with Harris again later.
Ava will do her best to avoid that discussion and will push Tripp to tell her how he got injured on the job.
Back in prison, Clyde will get Ava on the phone and make it clear that there’ll be more trouble for Tripp if she doesn’t cooperate.
Ava will realize Clyde is responsible for Tripp landing in harm’s way, so she’ll agree to meet with Clyde and hear his pitch at Statesville.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Clyde will eventually offer updates on his desire to have Ava take over his drug business, so stay tuned to see her uneasy reaction to that news.
