Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of August 28-September 1 reveal that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will try to make sense of Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) shocking return while Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) fears Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) is setting himself up for more Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) heartbreak.
Meanwhile, Sarah will have to visit the hospital right away, so there’ll apparently be some baby-related pain that leaves her concerned.
Over with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), he’ll refuse to accept help and will spin out of control as a result. Once Shawn finally reaches his lowest point, he’ll start making amends and will begin the slow journey back to healing.
Next, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will have some significant updates for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
It seems likely Paulina will offer to reinstate Rafe in the police commissioner role, but there may not be anything she can do about the city council’s “no dating a subordinate” rule.
Instead of dumping Jada or sneaking around with her again, Rafe may make a different choice. There’s a good chance Rafe will push Paulina to hire Jada as the new police commissioner while he follows a new path.
Across town, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will have some guidance for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) when it comes to his awkward relationship with Paulina.
Abe doesn’t know his own wife very well, so Steve may insist he should change that.
Even without his memories, there’s nothing stopping Abe from bonding with Paulina and falling in love all over again.
Days spoilers say Abe will ask Paulina on a date, so she should be delighted over the invitation.
Once Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) makes it back to Salem with Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien), it’ll be showtime!
Dimitri will have to convince Elliot Roth (Darren Richardson) that he’s met his true love and that his marriage is genuine.
While Dimitri tries to secure his fortune, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will take the next steps in their investigation.
Days fans will see Stefan and Gabi inch closer to the truth about what Dimitri and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) are hiding.
After Leo has an uncomfortable encounter with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), he’ll pitch a new plan to Dimitri.
Despite Dimitri’s doubts about it actually working, Leo will think it’s the best strategy for their current predicament.
Other Days spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will reel over Philip’s survival news, so he’ll deal with some tough emotions – including anger since Philip set him up to take the fall for his fake demise.
Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) will beg Brady not to press charges and may point out that Philip’s been in a mental health facility.
Brady will have to acknowledge the fact that Philip wasn’t in his right mind when he targeted him.
While Brady finally comes face to face with Philip, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will also learn Philip is alive and seemingly well now that he’s had treatment.
Over with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), guilt will hit hard over Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) unexpected passing.
Alex may feel like he let Victor down by leaving Titan to work at Basic Black.
This could lead to Alex deciding he should return to the family business, but that decision could come with major drama since Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) works at Titan now.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Dick Van Dyle will also make his long-awaited debut in a new DOOL role.
