General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, April 17, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) got updates on the wedding date being moved up, so they vowed to do whatever they could to help Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
In a moment alone with Carly, Willow worried about the rift between Michael and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Although Willow knew nobody could make Michael do something he didn’t want to do, she asked Carly to build a bridge between the father and son.
Carly agreed to do what she could while Josslyn gave Michael some news outside.
Joss admitted Sonny found her with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) at the Nurses Ball and revealed that he’d known about their romance for months.
Although Sonny wasn’t happy, Josslyn didn’t think he was all that mad either.
Michael mentioned Sonny’s recent phone call and seemed touched over him sounding like the dad he remembered.
At GH, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) berated Sonny for using Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to circumvent the law, but Sonny didn’t think it mattered as long as they got information out of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) henchman.
Once Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) showed up, she made it clear that she meant what she said about Sonny doing whatever it took to find Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Nina knew who Sonny was and didn’t need to be shielded since she trusted him to put the people he loved first.
While Sonny filled Nina in on the latest developments, Robert ran into Diane and complained about her boss.
Diane argued that Sonny was simply one of many clients and thought Robert had experience working for complex people, too.
After Diane pointed out that Robert hadn’t taken her out for dinner like he promised months ago, Robert suggested tonight.
Diane toyed with Robert by acting like she might have plans, but she ultimately admitted she didn’t.
Just before the civilian complaint review board meeting, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) shared a warm moment with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and got his approval on sticking around.
Once the meeting began, the CCRB expressed concerns about Chase’s acts of violence in his personal life and whether he was cut out to be a cop.
However, “Blaze” aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) showed up and passionately defended Chase since he stood up to Linc Brown (Dan Buran) when he was harassing her.
Brook Lynn also spoke about how Chase put his heart into everything he did, but his true calling was to be a detective instead of a performer.
Chase only got into this mess because he cared too much, so Brook Lynn thought he was someone meant to protect and serve.
After Chase shared a few words hoping to get reinstated, the civilian complaint review board left the room to mull things over.
Chase offered his gratitude to Blaze before she headed off to record a demo.
Next, Chase turned his attention back to Brook Lynn and suggested he’d be OK no matter what because of her.
When the CCRB returned, they announced that they’d made their decision.
At The Invader, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) patched things up since they’d missed each other’s friendship.
Alexis still felt like she should know more about what was going on with Gregory – just in case something happened and he needed her assistance.
Gregory wanted to focus on helping with news coverage instead, but he collapsed on the floor soon after and left Alexis in a panic.
Just off the coast of Venezuela, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was in her hotel room when Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) showed up posing as the maid.
Holly was in disguise since she was supposed to be off recovering in a Swiss burn unit.
After Felicia talked about Victor getting his hands on the Ice Princess and taking captives, Holly mentioned that a new lead brought her to this island.
Felicia thought it seemed awfully convenient, but Holly had to follow every lead if it might lead to her son, Ethan Lovett (James Ryan).
Once Felicia gave Holly a fancy dress to wear, they showed up at an exclusive club where a private auction was happening tonight.
Felicia tried to bribe an employee to let them stay, but he summoned some guards and insisted she’d made a terrible mistake.
Before Felicia could be thrown out along with Holly, she lied about being representatives connected to Victor.
To avoid a digital footprint, Felicia insisted they needed to bid in person and gave the guy some cash to let them stick around.
After the auction began, a man with a bag over his head was brought in.
Once the bag came off, Holly saw that Ethan was underneath – and the starting bid for a chance to end Ethan’s life was $1 million.
General Hospital spoilers say Holly and Felicia will do whatever it takes to save Ethan, so stay tuned!
