General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 21, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) spoke with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) alone and offered updates on all the John Brennan (Charles Mesure) drama.
Despite Brennan’s Pikeman connection, he denied any involvement in the Metro Court pool shooting.
That wasn’t surprising, but Sonny considered the possibility that Brennan could be telling the truth.
The gun linked to that shooting was tied to the WSB, which would’ve been a sloppy move on Brennan’s part.
Sonny suggested that whoever targeted him along with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could still be out there.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) was at the penthouse to celebrate Christmas Eve with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), so Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) urged her to tell Sonny about all the danger she was dealing with.
When Ava refused, Nina blabbed to Sonny about the gun left in Ava’s apartment.
Ava was forced to explain all the mysterious notes, deceased Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) pics and the weapon that she found in a drawer.
Sonny lashed out since he was just now hearing about this and pushed Ava to bring the gun tomorrow so that he could have it traced.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) found a skydiving brochure and learned her mom was planning on doing it for Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) sake.
Dante showed up on Thursday’s GH episode and heard about Alexis’ next big adventure, so he supported it.
Alexis kept going back and forth on whether she’d actually go through with this, but she ultimately decided she’d indeed be brave and jump out of a plane.
Nearby, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) warned Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) that the surrogacy process could take a lot longer than they anticipated, but Kristina was still on board.
Later, Kristina had an idea on how to speed things up and suggested she could be the egg donor in addition to being the surrogate.
At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) house, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) were there for a holiday celebration.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) brought some gifts over and seemed disappointed to hear that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) was in Argentina on a fact-finding mission.
When Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) arrived, he flew into a rage at the sight of Cody and convinced him to leave since this was a day for family.
Once Cody was gone, Sasha ripped into Spinelli for being completely out of line. Cody saved Sasha’s life, so she rushed to his defense.
Felicia also gave Spinelli a nudge to be a little more understanding of the person Cody was now, so Spinelli decided to go catch up with him.
In the meantime, Felicia talked to Maxie and Sasha about Cody’s suspicious reaction to the DNA results.
Felicia pointed out that Cody didn’t let anyone else see the outcome and thought he could be lying.
Maxie disagreed and suggested Cody was just disappointed over the results.
As Sasha stood there looking uncomfortable, Maxie acted like anyone in Cody’s position would want to be Mac’s son.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) handed out light-up antlers, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) thought they were childish and initially refused to participate.
That led to Tracy insulting Lois and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), but Olivia got an apology later.
Tracy also stirred the pot a bit by acting like it was crazy that Olivia and Lois had never hashed things out regarding Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Since Ned was Lois’ ex and Olivia’s current husband, Tracy acted like that conversation was long overdue.
Tracy eventually relented on the light-up antlers as well and had a surprisingly civil discussion with Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), who was in a wheelchair due to an ankle injury.
Lois worried about overstaying her welcome, but Monica liked having a full house – and Olivia assured Lois that she wanted her there, too.
In the stables, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) told Ned that he wanted a truce for Christmas and announced that he had a gesture of goodwill.
Michael was willing to give Ned the voting proxy on half of his ELQ shares, so Ned asked if there was a catch or if this was a trap.
Michael knew Ned would never agree to a truce without a bribe, but Ned wondered why Michael was doing Nina’s dirty work.
After Michael sidestepped the question, he suggested this deal was contingent on Ned’s silence.
Ned didn’t understand why Michael wasn’t using his power to drive Nina out of his family.
Michael and Ned clammed up when Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) appeared wanting to head over to Sonny’s place with the kids.
Once Willow walked away, Michael told Ned that if it were up to him, Nina would already be gone.
Michael just didn’t want to devastate Willow and Sonny, so he said Ned got to benefit, too.
Ned hoped that Michael knew what he was doing and said he wouldn’t trust Nina if he were Michael.
Once Michael and Willow took the kids to Sonny’s penthouse, Michael privately told Nina that he handled Ned and hoped he didn’t live to regret it.
Nina complained to Ava since Michael would never stop blaming her, but Ava acted like that was to be expected.
Ava suggested that Nina was always surprised when people refused to forgive her, but no one could wash away Nina’s sins.
As for Spinelli, he met up with Cody at the stables. Spinelli expressed regret over his earlier behavior and said he’d try to refrain from future outbursts.
That said, Spinelli was protective of Maxie and those closest to her, so he warned that Cody would find himself “prey to The Jackal” if he ever stepped out of line.
Comet the horse suddenly attacked Spinelli’s arm, but Spinelli refused to accept first aid. After Spinelli said he’d be watching Cody, he took off.
General Hospital spoilers say Cody has more drama ahead of him, so stay tuned for all the shocking news and fierce faceoffs.
