General Hospital Recap: Tuesday, February 28 – Dante Breaks In Closet – Obrecht Reveals Bone Marrow Donor

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 28, reveals that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) didn’t have much to say to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in her dorm room. Although Curtis wanted to seek the truth through a DNA test, Trina didn’t need DNA to tell her everything she already knew about her family.

Curtis assured Trina that it was her call, but he said to let him know if she changed her mind down the road.

Trina made it clear that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) would always be her father regardless of any DNA test results, so Curtis acknowledged that as he left.

At the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had a warrant that would allow him to search every inch of Spoon Island.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) was curious what Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) had been doing at Wyndemere during all the serial killer chaos, so she decided to pay him a visit at the hospital.

In the interrogation room, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) felt guilty for ratting out Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) to save herself.

Since the real hook murderer kept at it while the cops looked for captive Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), Liz worried about Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) reaction.

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) acted like he could smooth things over, but Liz was skeptical.

Over the phone at GH, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) spoke with someone about launching an appeal through Crimson to get Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) a bone marrow donor match.

Meanwhile, Liesl quizzed Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about the secrets he was keeping, but he wouldn’t divulge anything about Liz’s case.

Obrecht assumed Scott was getting Liz out of a parking ticket or something and learned Heather Webber (Alley Mills) was headed back to the asylum.

After Liesl ranted about the cops wasting precious time searching for Esme when Heather was out there killing, she said someone must’ve known the truth – and because of them, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was dead.

Obrecht wished she could confront Heather in her padded cell or get five minutes alone with whoever was hiding Esme.

While Nina whisked Liesl away, Elizabeth and Scott met up with Finn.

Scott suggested Liz was officially an innocent woman, but Liz said “not guilty” didn’t make her innocent.

Back with Nina, she tried to steer Liesl away from revenge and mentioned her Crimson campaign to help Willow.

Obrecht admitted she might know a possible bone marrow donor and revealed it was herself – though she was still waiting on the results from the lab.

Nina was overjoyed at the possibility and pulled Liesl into a hug.

Although Nina tried to keep Liesl’s mind on the test results, Obrecht got suspicious when Scott wouldn’t look her in the face.

Liesl asked what kind of legal trouble Scott handled for Liz, so he tried to keep the blame on Nikolas.

Once Liesl got updates on Nik holding Esme hostage when he thought she was the hook killer, she fumed over Liz helping him.

Back with Jordan, she was surprised to learn Austin checked himself out of the hospital.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) wanted to speak with Jordan alone, so she admitted Jordan was right about her needing to come forward sooner.

Although Portia felt she’d been a coward, Jordan didn’t agree since Portia had valid reasons for protecting Trina, Taggert and even Curtis in a way.

Once Jordan said Portia was a good person who put her family first, Portia pointed out that she still chose to ignore Jordan’s warnings.

Now Portia didn’t know how to make the situation better, but Jordan told her not to lose hope.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow made a cell phone video for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and suggested their wedding would be a memory by the time he watched it.

Willow hoped that Michael remembered the flowers, music and all the other details.

After Willow suggested Michael could show their daughter their wedding video one day, she said Amelia Corinthos (Nathan and Owen Ford) would be able to see how much her mommy loved her daddy.

Once Michael appeared, he talked about wanting to make this wedding a dream come true for Willow.

Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) also brought Willow the half-heart pendant necklace he found and worried he’d done something wrong due to her strange reaction.

Willow and Michael reassured Wiley before Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) showed up to help with wedding plans.

While Michael and Wiley were upstairs, Willow asked Sasha to get rid of the necklace for her.

Sasha also wanted Willow to stop talking about the time she had left, but Willow was trying to be realistic.

Once Sasha confessed to confronting Heather at the PCPD, she thought it was good to release her pent-up anger on Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) murderer.

There was a time when Sasha felt nothing could be worse than death, but now she realized that never having someone to love and lose was the worst thing that could happen.

While Willow was upstairs with Amelia later, Michael told Sasha not to let Willow limit herself with the wedding since it should be everything Willow wanted.

As for Michael, he said he wanted what he couldn’t have – which was more time.

Michael worried the dance Willow requested would be their last, but Sasha helped him hide the sad vibe of the conversation when Willow returned.

On Sasha’s way out, she held the half-heart pendant that Willow told her to get rid of and looked pensive.

At Wyndemere, Austin pointed out that Ava Jerome (Maura West) had the money to just disappear, but Ava felt that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) would find her.

Plus, Ava refused to leave Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) behind.

Ava wouldn’t blame Austin if bailed on the situation, but he assured her that he was still in.

Unfortunately, the cops showed up at the door with the warrant before Austin and Ava could move Nikolas’ body.

Ava wondered if it was really necessary to check the whole property, but Dante warned that they weren’t leaving without proof against Nikolas or at least a clue.

Ava played dumb as Dante talked about Esme’s time in captivity, but then she mentioned something about Esme being locked up in the north tower.

That left Dante suspicious of how Ava knew, so she covered by pointing out that Nikolas had kept it off-limits.

Dante got a call from an officer who was part of the search, so Ava asked if something was found.

Although Dante wasn’t sure what the news was exactly, he dashed off to investigate.

Ava worried that maybe she should run after all since Victor would make sure she was dead if the cops found out she killed Nikolas.

Before Ava could give the idea any further consideration, Dante called Ava over to the tack room.

Austin went with Ava, who claimed the closet was just for storage and suggested Nikolas would’ve taken anything important with him.

Since Ava said she didn’t have the key for the padlock, Dante began trying to pry the closet open with a crowbar – leaving Ava and Austin on edge as they watched.

General Hospital spoilers say Ava has some shockers in her future, so stay tuned!
