General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could end up feeling rather cursed soon. Alexis has certainly had some bad luck in her love life – and that trend will continue since Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is keeping a grim secret.
GH fans know Gregory has been talking about his legacy as a professor and everything that he bequeathed to his students.
We’ve been hearing Gregory use the kind of language someone might use if they expected to die.
Of course, we also now know Gregory doesn’t even work at PCU anymore, so he’s hiding things from Alexis and others in his life.
Gregory downplayed any health concerns by giving Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) a migraine excuse, but it’s clear that he’s battling something far more serious.
Whether it’s a brain tumor or perhaps another condition with a potentially terminal prognosis, Gregory may be looking at a situation where he’s not expected to survive.
Alexis was previously paired up with Julian Jerome (William deVry), who ultimately left the canvas in a body bag.
Though Julian’s relationship with Alexis was over by then, he was a huge part of Alexis’ world once upon a time.
Naturally, we have to mention Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), who died in Alexis’ bed thanks to Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) overdosing him.
Neil was a lot like Gregory since he was an intellectual who challenged Alexis and kept her intrigued.
Would GH writers be cruel enough to kill Gregory off, too? Is Alexis facing some sort of dead love interest curse?
If Gregory actually dies, we’ll start to worry that every man Alexis falls for is doomed to face a terrible fate!
It’s easy to imagine Alexis having a conversation where she conveys that fear – perhaps to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) since that’s her bestie.
However, there may be hope for Gregory since miracles happen all the time on soaps.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is an excellent doctor and will surely do everything he can for Gregory once he learns his father is sick.
Regardless, Gregory is fighting a battle that could apparently be fatal, so there’s always the risk of him ending up in an early grave.
That’s the kind of thing that might make Alexis give up on love since all her love interests seem to wind up dead.
Gregory will have to admit some bad news to Alexis eventually, so General Hospital spoilers say some difficult updates are headed her way.
