General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis NOT Trina’s Bio Dad – DNA Results Bring Shocking Paternity Twist?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) desperately wants a DNA test – just so he can know for sure whether Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might be his biological daughter. Ever since Curtis found out it was a possibility, he can’t stop looking at Trina through the lens of being a father.

However, we have to consider the idea that the show’s gearing up for a shocking paternity twist.

The longer Trina delays this DNA test, the more suspicious we get about what the results will be.

It’s true Trina and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) both had that ancestry site match, but what if that really was a glitch?

If that’s the case, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) could just as easily be Trina’s true father.

There are a couple reasons why GH writers might take this false alarm route and have Curtis not be Trina’s bio dad after all.

The first one is that many fans have grown to like Taggert as Trina’s father, so why rock the boat?

No disrespect to the actors involved here, but Trina and Curtis just don’t have father-daughter chemistry.

If we’re supposed to be feeling like there’s some kind of family bond growing, it’s just not happening on screen.

Taggert is the doting dad that everyone’s rooting for, so maybe the writers will lean into that.

It’d be a relief for Trina and Taggert if the DNA results ultimately proved that they’re indeed biologically related.

Another reason why Curtis may not be the bio dad involves Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) misdiagnosis.

Marshall found out he doesn’t truly have schizophrenia, so his world changed in an instant when he realized his diagnosis was wrong.

That bombshell may have been a way to set another one up for Curtis. Now that Curtis has latched onto this idea of fatherhood, it’s shaping his world in a big way, too.

Curtis already seems to believe that he’s Trina’s father, so he really just wants hard evidence.

What happens if the DNA results prove Curtis isn’t a match for Trina in the end?

That could turn Curtis’ world upside down all over again and leave him feeling cheated.

Curtis and Marshall may come together over their wrong assumptions and find a path forward together.

In other words, Curtis might realize all this daddy drama was stirred up for nothing!

If Curtis receives the news that Taggert is Trina’s biological father, he may wish he’d never gotten his hopes up.

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Trina will get a DNA test done sooner or later, so stay tuned for updates on what’s in store.
