General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) traumatic ordeal may lead to some big changes. Up to now, this amnesiac version of Esme has been quite weak. It’s clear that Esme’s been an emotional wreck – and who wouldn’t be in her position?
Based on Esme’s behavior behind closed doors, we believe she’s truly suffering from memory loss.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is an expert, so we can probably trust his opinion to be accurate on that, too.
Of course, it’s possible there’ll be a rewrite that changes things down the road, but Esme’s amnesia seems to be the real deal for now.
Esme looked genuinely horrified by the news of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) being her biological parents.
Following the escape Esme was forced to be part of and the difficult birth she endured, she emerged stronger on the other side.
Esme certainly looked content as she held her new baby in her arms and declared she’d do anything for him.
Amnesia indeed made Esme weak, but bringing her child into the world could lead to her rediscovering her inner strength.
It could also lead to quite a battle with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) if he sticks to his plan of going after full custody of the newest Cassadine family member.
During the week of February 27-March 3, GH spoilers say Esme will set some firm boundaries. We’ll see Esme put her foot down and tell someone how it’s going to be.
Could Spencer find himself on the receiving end of Esme’s wrath? It might be interesting to see a little of the old Esme shine through despite her memory loss.
Maybe Esme will deliver an ultimatum to Spencer once she gets updates on his plan to raise this child himself without any help from her.
Esme might play hardball and warn that Spencer will be taking a huge risk.
Perhaps Esme will warn Spencer to back off his push for custody or else she’ll ban him from the baby completely if he loses.
Spencer might risk no contact whatsoever with his little brother if Esme beats him in court.
Since Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has already cautioned Spencer about what a tough case this is, Spencer had better think long and hard before he takes this gamble!
