General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) could land in a truly terrifying situation. Esme’s amnesia certainly seems legit based on how frustrated and overwhelmed she seems right now.
Unfortunately, Esme’s problems are only going to get worse now that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) is in the picture.
Heather latched onto Esme right away since she knows that’s her beloved daughter.
Of course, Esme doesn’t realize the bio connection and just thinks Heather is some crazy inmate who’s obsessed with her.
It’s clear that Esme is already creeped out by Heather, but things could really head downhill from here.
The more Heather’s around Esme, the more fixated she’ll become on building a happy family.
Heather will also have to worry about Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and the threat he poses now that they’re all at Spring Ridge together.
Although Heather warned Esme to keep her distance from Ryan, he’ll surely manage to see her anyway.
Knowing Ryan as well as we do, he could have a very negative reaction to this new-and-improved Esme.
Since amnesiac Esme has a conscience, GH spoilers hint that Ryan will obviously disapprove.
What Ryan needs is a partner in crime to help him reunite with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
This confused and rather pitiful version of Esme isn’t going to work, so Ryan could respond with violence.
There could be a scenario where Heather feels she needs to get Esme out of Spring Ridge for her own safety.
Regardless, Heather may ultimately make a bold move, especially if Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) decides she’s not a useful source of info.
Heather’s asylum transfer could be ordered and make her realize it’s now or never when it comes to bolting with Esme.
What happens if Heather can’t win Esme over between now and then?
Based on their first interaction, it’s tough to imagine Esme willingly going with Heather anywhere.
Esme thinks Heather is a nutjob and may know better than to make her legal issues worse by fleeing.
That could force Heather to take drastic action by pulling that shiv on her own flesh and blood.
Heather might insist it’s for Esme’s own good and take her hostage for that escape plot she has in mind.
That could lead to Esme going missing all over again – only this time she’d be forced into hiding with her deranged bio mom!
Esme might go into labor in the midst of all this and fret over her baby’s survival.
Since Esme is pretty far along, that could raise the stakes for this quick getaway.
Whatever the case, Heather is determined to have a family with her daughter and grandchild, so she won’t take no for an answer!
Some updates could be brewing when it comes to Heather’s escape plan – and that could mean horrible news for Esme if she’s taken against her will.
