General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) may quickly grow tired of answering phones and making appointments. When Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) first pitched the idea of Esme coming to work for her at The Invader, Esme wasn’t thrilled about being a receptionist.
Of course, Esme eventually came around on the idea since it’s not like she has a ton of experience or education.
It was a perfectly reasonable position for Esme to take under the circumstances, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be content staying in it.
There’s certainly room for advancement at The Invader if Esme shows that usual determination of hers.
Esme has proven she knows how to get creative and make things happen, so maybe she’ll come up with a way to score herself a promotion.
Will Esme come up with a proposition for Alexis to mull over? Could Esme decide she’d like to be a reporter and make a bigger contribution than her duties as a receptionist?
People were no doubt quite curious about all “The Hook” chaos in Port Charles – and Esme has a very personal connection to that story.
Heather Webber (Alley Mills) confessed to the murders and happens to be Esme’s mother, so Esme might think she’s the ideal person to dig deeper and tell readers everything they’ve been dying to know.
Since GH spoilers confirm that Heather will return to the show, we have to start thinking about how she’ll fit into the action again.
What if Esme seeks Heather out this time around? It’s possible Esme will move beyond her fears if there’s a promotion in it for her.
Heather is locked back up where she can’t hurt anyone – at least for the moment. As long as Esme stays safe, she may not see the harm in doing a tell-all interview with Heather.
Esme might pitch the idea of interviewing her own twisted bio mom and reporting on it from her unique perspective.
There’s no denying that it’d be a huge story for The Invader, so Esme might hope to get a reporter position out of this if the article’s a hit.
Unfortunately, Esme could stir up more trouble than she bargained for if she reignites Heather’s obsession with her and prompts another escape plot.
