General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, June 9, reveal that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will stand her ground when it comes to the bogus accusation she just made. After Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) blackmailed her, Tracy quickly found a way to retaliate.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was on his way to snitch on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when he slipped and hit his head as he fell in the pool.
Drew saved Ned’s life, but now Tracy is claiming he attacked Ned and almost killed him.
Of course, Drew will insist that’s not what happened on Friday’s GH episode, but Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will seem suspicious.
It’ll leave Drew wondering if Chase is seriously going to arrest him for assault when he just played the hero for Ned instead!
At the hospital, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will be an emotional wreck as she seeks updates on Ned’s condition.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will evaluate a new patient, so he may be the doctor who helps Ned once he’s rushed in.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will share some fun banter with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and will playfully insist his secret is safe with her, so these two may be headed down a romantic road again.
However, Finn will also hear the latest Ned news and question Tracy’s version of events.
Although Finn considers Tracy a friend, he knows how she operates and may worry she’s not telling the truth about Drew’s actions.
As for Nina, she’ll try to enjoy what she fears could be her final moments of peace with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Nina doesn’t know how all this is going to play out from here, but she’ll try to savor this time with the man she loves.
Despite Nina’s attempt to live in this blissful bubble a bit longer, Sonny may feel like something’s up with her.
Nina might be tempted to confess her role in the SEC saga herself, but there’ll be a surprise interruption that derails this conversation and delays any admission of guilt.
Since Ned has a head injury, there’s a chance he’ll have a soapy case of amnesia when he awakens.
Ned may be hazy on the events that led up to his pool fall, so that could drag this story out for a while.
Other GH spoilers say Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will warn Ava Jerome (Maura West) that if they don’t do what Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) wants, it could get them both killed.
Austin will want Ava to understand that this is serious business since Mason speaks for their boss, who’s quite powerful and deadly when she wants to be.
Over with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), it looks like she’ll pitch her plan to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Carly thinks Dex should keep working for Sonny and reporting back to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but she wants the goal to be helping Sonny instead of hurting him.
Michael and Dex will play the role Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) used to play through their teamwork, so it’ll be like a guardian angel situation behind the scenes.
Basically, Dex will tell Michael what’s going on and get advice on how to help Sonny handle things with a level head.
However, Dex would still be a spy of sorts, so there are risks to this arrangement.
Carly will want Dex to understand how important it is to keep this quiet if he chooses to accept the job.
Based on Josslyn’s reaction in the preview clip, it looks like she’ll be surprised that Dex is actually considering the idea.
Dex may think Michael’s guidance would be valuable, but it could also get him killed if Sonny finds out and thinks they’re up to no good.
After all, Michael initially hired Dex to take Sonny down, so it’d be easy for Sonny to misunderstand if Dex’s double agent status comes to light.
Dex would be better off cutting ties with Michael and just working for Sonny alone, but he may create more problems for himself by going along with Carly’s suggestion.
General Hospital spoilers say Dex will have a difficult decision to make, so stay tuned.
