General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) seems poised to make a shocking discovery, so let’s set the stage for a major betrayal. The week of June 5-9 will lead to Maxie getting some high praise from Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), who’ll presumably be complimenting Maxie on her work at Deception.
Maxie was instrumental in convincing Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to go back on Home and Heart for a live television appearance, which turned out well despite Haven de Havilland’s (Morgan Fairchild) attempts to sabotage the whole thing.
Now Sasha has conquered her fears – and Deception is gearing up for even more successful TV appearances with Sasha as the main demonstrator.
Lucy may give Maxie a pat on the back for setting all that in motion, especially since sales will probably be through the roof.
Unfortunately, GH writers don’t seem interested in giving Maxie a story of her own at the moment.
What happened to Maxie and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) inching toward a romantic reunion?
Maxie is focused on work these days, so it looks like that trend will continue for a while.
On the bright side, Maxie will still have a new storyline – even if she’s in a supporting role rather than a leading one.
Brook Lynn has rejoined Deception with a sneaky goal in mind since Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wants her to spy on what’s happening in research and development.
If Brook Lynn reports back to Tracy as planned and betrays Deception by divulging inside information, there’s going to be big trouble.
This could easily lead to a situation where Brook Lynn gets busted, especially since Maxie is all about Deception lately.
Maxie is really throwing herself into work, so nothing’s going to get by her – especially not a team member like Brook Lynn snooping and spilling!
If Maxie ultimately catches Brook Lynn and makes this shocking discovery, it’ll put her in a terrible position.
Brook Lynn may end up begging Maxie not to expose her betrayal since it could put her new reunion with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in jeopardy – not to mention there could be criminal charges depending on how things go down.
