General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) could end up growing closer soon. Could that lead to a major betrayal that would change everything?
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been lying about Nina’s biological link to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and keeps finding new ways to sabotage Drew’s investigation.
When all of this blows up, you can bet that Drew will dump Carly over her actions.
Meanwhile, it looks like Drew will emerge as the hero for Nina – the one who connects the dots and offers updates that lead to a reunion with her long-lost daughter.
Nina will undoubtedly be grateful to Drew for giving her the news she needs despite Carly’s meddling.
This will also give Nina the chance to save Willow’s life if she’s a bone marrow donor match as expected.
Drew will play a role in making that happen and could even help Willow become more accepting of Nina’s love.
In other words, we’re going to see Drew become much more sympathetic to Nina while turning against Carly.
That could set the stage for some surprising sparks to ignite, especially while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is behind bars.
All signs point to Sonny getting arrested soon thanks to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) plan with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
That could leave Nina feeling like it’s all her fault – and it’ll certainly leave her needing a shoulder to cry on if Sonny stays locked up too long.
It’s easy to see the potential for Drew and Nina to lean on each other here. O
n some level, it could even be revenge on Nina’s part since she’ll want Carly to pay for keeping the truth about Willow out of her hands.
This potential betrayal could be as simple as an alcohol-fueled kiss or as scandalous as a full-blown affair, but it’d be a massive mistake either way – at least if Nina wants to keep her relationship with Sonny intact.
Of course, Nina might use a situation like this to intentionally push Sonny away.
If Nina feels like it’s best to break up, she may give Sonny a reason to turn his back on her by cheating with Drew.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say some bombshells are brewing as Nina ultimately discovers Carly’s deception, so stay tuned for more GH drama!
