General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) could use a memory trigger, but nothing’s been able to fully jog her memory so far. The closest Esme has come to remembering anything was when Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) paid her a visit at GH.
Esme had a flash of recognition based on Kevin’s face, which she found trustworthy.
There was a sense of comfort, but Esme wasn’t able to nail down any concrete memories.
Of course, Kevin is Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) twin, so that’s why Esme had such a powerful response to him.
We can only imagine that Esme will have an even stronger response once she comes face to face with Ryan himself.
That could easily happen now that Esme is at Spring Ridge, where Ryan also resides.
Heather Webber (Alley Mills) warned Esme to stay away from Ryan, but there may still be some scenario that leads to them reuniting.
Once that happens, will Esme face a memory flood? Perhaps this bio dad’s twisted love could snap his daughter out of her amnesia.
Naturally, Ryan doesn’t love the way that a normal person loves, but he’s at least fond of Esme and her ability to help him.
Esme is Ryan’s ally and protégé, so he’ll no doubt do everything in his power to help her recall their partnership.
That might be enough to help Esme remember everything she’s forgotten and go back to being the little manipulator she used to be.
Ryan and Esme could even score a new secret out of this that could aid their alliance.
After all, amnesiac Esme gets a lot more sympathy.
Although there are always going to be certain characters that never trust her, Esme is starting to win people over somewhat with this new-and-improved version of herself.
Ryan might urge Esme to keep up the amnesia act since it lulls people into a false sense of security.
Esme can get away with far more if everyone thinks she has no memory of her horrible past and no desire to do anything else that’d land her in trouble.
Since Esme may get updates from Ryan regarding their biological connection, stay tuned to see if he’ll deliver the daddy news and help with total recall.
Will Esme and Ryan’s creepy reunion be the answer to her memory problems? Will Esme ultimately start faking her amnesia to get away with more awful behavior?
