General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 19, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have an idea, but Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will try to shut him down. After Laura stops Curtis in his tracks at GH, she’ll insist she can’t let him do that.
Curtis is focused on rescuing Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) right now, but Laura may worry his plan is too risky.
However, nothing can prevent Curtis from putting everything on the line for Trina’s sake, so he may go against Laura’s wishes and take action anyway.
On The Haunted Star, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will share another moment alone with Trina and fear that if they don’t act fast, it could be too late for all of them.
Spencer, Trina, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) are all in grave danger, so Trina will make another bold move to help the authorities find them.
That means Trina will have to sneak in the engine room and sabotage some of the equipment to slow the ship’s progress.
While Trina’s busy, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will threaten Spencer to keep him under control. Unless Spencer starts behaving himself, Victor will point out that he can see to it that his great-nephew is carried off the ship as cargo!
Since Ace will cry like crazy while struggling with colic, Victor will push Spencer to help calm his baby brother down.
Soon after, Victor will receive updates on something that’s happened in the engine room, so Spencer will fear that maybe Trina got caught.
Of course, the whole point of Trina’s mission is to create engine room trouble, so it perhaps she’ll just sabotage some of the equipment as planned.
Back at the hospital, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will tell someone this could be a matter of life and death.
It looks like Esme will track down Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) to express her concerns about Ace while he’s stuck on The Haunted Star.
Esme panicked over Ace’s recent bout of colic, so her mind should soon be spinning with all sorts of fears now that she’s separated from him.
Austin may insist Ace was in good health other than that minor colic issue and try to ease Esme’s mind.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will have some praise for Austin in Wednesday’s episode, so she may be impressed with the way he handles this Esme situation.
Austin always puts his patients first and would never hold Esme’s past mistakes against her when it comes to her baby.
It turns out Austin will also have a favor to ask of Elizabeth, so she should be willing to grant it.
Over with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she’ll try to make sense of Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) friendship.
Carly will consider this a mystery to solve since she won’t see what Nina and Ava could possibly have in common besides hating her.
Nevertheless, Ava has grown quite fond of Nina, who’s proven to be a caring and helpful pal. Nina is always there if Ava needs her, so they’ve formed a true friendship.
Ava will give Carly some good advice to mull over, so she may remind her that they’ve all made mistakes and tried to move past them – including Carly herself.
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll admit to Nina that he just heard about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding happening tomorrow through Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
It looks like Sonny will also be summoned to the Quartermaine mansion, so he’ll wonder if Nina knows what that’s about.
Willow might be the one who asks Sonny to come over since it was her idea to invite him to the wedding.
Unfortunately, Willow doesn’t plan on giving an invitation to Nina, who’ll face a crushing blow as a result.
Although Nina will try to be happy for Sonny, she’ll still be disappointed over Willow shutting her out.
General Hospital spoilers say Nina could take matters into her own hands and crash the wedding in the coming episodes, so that could lead to disastrous news!
