General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, April 5, tease that there’ll be some exciting Nurses Ball performances, but let’s talk about a schedule change first. Due to news coverage, the GH episode planned for Tuesday was preempted and will now air on Wednesday instead.
Fortunately, we’ve got the scoop on what’s happening in Port Charles, so let’s talk about what’s in store!
For starters, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will make arrangements regarding a travel companion since he intends to take someone with him when he leaves PC.
Backstage at the Nurses Ball, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will find Linc Brown (Dan Buran) making Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) uncomfortable and will order him out.
Later, Brook Lynn will admit to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that she wishes she hadn’t signed the non-disclosure agreement.
After Brook Lynn hints about letting women down, Chase will feel like Brook Lynn disappointed herself as well.
At the safe house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will serenade Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on a toy piano as they imagine they’re dressed up and dancing together somewhere fancy.
Later, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will admit to making a temporary escape to the Metro Court for Nurses Ball prep, so her updates will alarm Anna and Valentin.
Since Victor could be on his way, Valentin and Anna will know they all have to get out now.
Back with Victor, he’ll make it clear to his goons that he has no further use for Lucy, who should be killed.
However, Victor will want Anna and Valentin kept alive.
At the safe house again, Valentin will try to step outside when a sniper’s red dot lands on him. A gunshot will be fired while Anna screams in terror.
After Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) make a speech about the Nurses Ball acts, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will perform along with several other GH employees.
At a table, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will voice her gratitude to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) for hooking her up with a nice dress and jewelry for this big event.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will suggest that Sasha’s guardianship will hopefully be over soon and then Gladys won’t have to pitch in anymore.
When Cody Bell (Josh Bell) corners Gladys about the lies she’s been telling, Gladys will push him to butt out.
Nevertheless, Cody will threaten to fill Sasha in on Gladys’ gambling debts and how she’s been settling them unless Gladys comes clean herself.
As for Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), they’ll try to make sure the cops see them having a good time together.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will also shake on a deal as they agree to focus on the fun of the show instead of recent drama.
Over with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), he’ll wish he’d asked if he could escort Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to the Nurses Ball.
Trina will wonder why Spencer didn’t ask her, but Sonny will ultimately interrupt their conversation with questions about Victor.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will also steal a quick moment, but they’ll just touch hands discreetly and try not to draw attention.
Next, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will notice that Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) isn’t having any alcohol, so Molly and TJ will reveal that they’re trying for a baby.
There’ll also be some backstage drama for Maxie to contend with involving the llama and a missing chainsaw, but she’ll keep buzzing around and handling everything.
As Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) makes a sweet speech about Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) on stage, Epiphany’s picture will show up behind her for the tribute.
Once Spencer and Trina get their earlier conversation back on track, they’ll confirm they’re together before Joss pulls Trina away for their act.
Trina and Josslyn will deliver a fantastic performance that wows the crowd.
Unfortunately, it’ll impress Linc as well, so he’ll corner Josslyn to make a pitch about taking her all the way to the top.
Although Josslyn won’t be interested in a music career, Linc will keep trying to sell her on the idea.
When Brook Lynn spies Linc talking to Josslyn, she’ll look furious!
