General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, January 18 Update – Michael Slams Carly’s Revenge – Nina’s Angry Vow – Nik’s Double Threat

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 18, teases Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will be puzzled once she crosses paths with Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Heather will be delighted to finally be reunited with her adult daughter – though she may stay tight-lipped about who she is to Esme for now.

Amnesiac Esme has been told she’s done terrible things, so she’s feeling lost and completely overwhelmed right now.

Of course, Heather will assure Esme that she’s not alone and offer plenty of reassurance now that Mama’s taking charge.

GH fans know Heather has big plans to go on the run with Esme and her baby, but she’ll have to play this just right.

Heather may realize she needs to be a bit more strategic and hold off on her great escape until the ideal time.

At Kelly’s, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will be pleasantly surprised when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) seeks a partner against Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

If Spencer intends to go up against Nikolas, he’ll feel like he needs Ava in his corner.

Ava certainly wants Nikolas to suffer for his behavior and may agree that he has no business raising another child.

Esme isn’t mom material either, so Ava may think Spencer is indeed the best possibility when it comes to raising this baby.

At the hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will decide it’s time to face the music.

After Carly approaches Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and apologizes for keeping Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother a secret, she’ll try to help them both understand.

Although Carly will deliver the same old spiel about protecting Willow, Michael will think this was about revenge instead.

Carly at least needs to own up to her true motives and admit that she wanted Nina to suffer on some level.

Although Michael won’t be prepared to forgive Carly yet, she might have more luck with Willow.

Since Willow admitted she was better off with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) as a mom – at least in her opinion – she may cut Carly some slack for deceiving her on the Nina shocker.

Whatever the case, Carly will cry by Willow’s bedside and hope forgiveness is possible, so Willow should be able to offer that – if not now, then at some point soon.

Nina has been fuming over Carly’s actions and will make it clear that she’s going to remember this for quite some time.

Carly crossed the line in a big way, so Nina won’t plan to just forgive and forget.

We’ll hear Nina make an angry vow against Carly as she holds a grudge.

On another note, Nina will await updates on her blood test results now that she’s at the next step of the process.

Although the preliminary screening revealed Nina was a potential bone marrow donor match, she’ll be nervous while waiting for official news.

In Paris, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will discuss the rest of their Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) rescue mission.

Someone named Rene (Maria Tornberg) will join the fight to find Lucy since she potentially knows a hidden passageway, but Anna will fear Valentin’s charming former associate is going to be trouble.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna and Valentin will face more hurdles as the Lucy hunt heats up.
