General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview video for the week of January 9-13 reveals that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will struggle after their latest setback.
Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) just delivered some unfortunate updates regarding Willow’s bone marrow donor match, who wasn’t cleared for the procedure in the end.
That means Willow has to wait for another option, but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could be just the match she needs!
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has just discovered a file that will get the ball rolling since it turns out it contains Willow’s medical info – including the fact that she has leukemia and chose to delay treatment.
Nina will lash out at Michael later this week since she’ll assume he talked Willow into holding off on chemo for the baby’s sake.
It was actually Willow who made the choice for herself, but Michael will inevitably want Nina to butt out regardless.
Of course, Michael won’t realize Nina could be the person in the best position to save Willow’s life, so this storyline will come with some shockers and complications.
As for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she’ll have to deal with the consequences of her actions.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) confronts a crying Carly in the weekly promo and calls her out for lying to him again, so Carly will have some explaining to do soon enough.
GH spoilers say Carly’s DNA results deception will be exposed – and so will her efforts to derail Drew’s search for Willow’s birth parents.
Although Carly will rush to her own defense, Drew will be furious and deeply disappointed in her.
Carly will cry as Drew slams her shady behavior, but there’ll be an even bigger reveal once Willow’s leukemia battle and Carly’s sabotage come to light.
In the weekly preview video, a somber Carly approaches Nina in the chapel with Sonny and seems ready to spill the news about Willow being Nina’s bio daughter.
It looks like Drew may push Carly to confess the truth to Nina herself, so major drama’s about to go down.
Meanwhile, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will admit to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that she’s extremely worried about the trouble Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has landed in.
Although Laura will appreciate Liz’s loyalty to Nikolas, she’ll have good reasons to fret over both of them since they’ve been scheming together.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will also do some investigating at Wyndemere, so he’ll inevitably find the aftermath of the fire in the north tower.
The walls will start closing in on Nikolas, who could eventually be facing jail time for holding Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) hostage – or worse if he gets accused of her attempted murder!
