General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, March 17, teases that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will push Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) to do more of his dirty work. We’ll see Victor tighten his grip on Eileen and force her into some other difficult situations.
Eileen will also have to keep doing what Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and the others on Victor’s takedown team ask of her.
That includes giving Victor an unredacted report on the necklace with some fake codes, so Eileen will definitely be taking some risks.
Although Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will hope to finally get out of that safe house and return home in time for the Nurses Ball, she’ll get some unfortunate updates.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will show compassion since Lucy will really be torn up over everything she’s missing.
Of course, GH fans know Lucy well enough to realize she’s not going to let this go.
It looks like Lucy will escape from the safe house during the week of March 20-24, so that’s sure to cause trouble.
Speaking of trouble, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will fear there’s more of it when he hears a noise and goes to investigate.
Although Dex will be armed and ready for another fight, it seems it’ll just be Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in the end.
Josslyn is sure to be startled by Dex’s gun and will wonder what’s got him so on edge.
The fact that Dex is living with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is something else Josslyn will be puzzled about.
Dex will have to admit he took a bullet due to a new threat Sonny’s facing, so that’ll bring an unpleasant surprise for Josslyn.
You can bet Dex will get an earful since he could’ve gotten himself killed!
Now that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) knows there was an incident, she’s trying to figure out just how involved in Sonny’s business she wants to be.
Part of Nina wants to stay in the dark, but another part of her won’t like living with all the questions.
Since Nina will need some advice, she’ll turn to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) for some on Friday’s exciting episode.
Phyllis will wonder if Nina can sustain a relationship with Sonny when it’s filled with mob-related secrets.
While Nina mulls over her next move, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will make a move of her own.
We’ll see Diane deliver a proposal to DA Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), who’ll have to decide if he supports Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) idea.
It looks like Robert will delay prosecuting Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and put her freedom in motion – at least while she’s got amnesia.
Esme could still be prosecuted for her crimes at a later date if her memory returns.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will hope this news can lead to a peaceful solution when it comes to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), but there’ll inevitably be more conflict between Esme and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Finally, Sonny will make a vow to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), so that may involve ensuring the safety of the people they both care about.
Carly won’t think Sonny can make any guarantees and will fret over the danger that’s landed in their lives again.
