General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, February 13, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have some crucial instructions for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), who’ll apparently serve as additional security at Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) wedding.
Of course, that’ll lead to Dex meeting up with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) eventually.
GH spoilers say Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) fury will erupt, so it sounds like he’ll have a tense encounter of his own with Dex soon enough.
Before the wedding starts, Curtis will have one final task to accomplish. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) might offer to pitch in since Curtis will be cutting it awfully close.
Maybe Trina will find Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and try to convince her that Curtis really needs all his family at the wedding.
It’d be different if Stella were actually sick, but she’s just avoiding the ceremony because of the secret she’s now privy to.
Stella put the clues together and determined that Curtis could be Trina’s bio dad, so Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will admit that to Portia on Monday’s GH episode.
Although Portia’s nerves will intensify over the news, she won’t think confessing is a good idea – especially not when she’s about to walk down the aisle.
However, Jordan will think that’s actually why Portia has to come clean now. This could be so much worse if Portia marries Curtis with such a huge secret between them.
Portia will be torn about her next move, but she’ll have to make a decision fast since the nuptials are rapidly approaching.
Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will take a moment to needle Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about his relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and try to figure out why they’re pretending they’re just friends.
Since Drew insists on standing by Carly, Nina will consider him a foe just like his secret main squeeze.
At GH, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will certainly be willing to marry Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) ASAP and do whatever else it takes to give her peace of mind.
Nevertheless, Michael will fret over Willow potentially giving up once they check everything off her list.
Since Michael will bargain with Willow a bit, he may push her to fight even harder to survive – no matter how bleak things may seem now.
Michael will also land in a tight spot, so that could involve his Sonny takedown scheme.
If one of Willow’s dying wishes is for Michael to reconcile with Sonny, how can he deny her what she truly wants?
At the same time, Michael won’t want to bail on a plan that he’s poured so much time into.
Willow comes first, but it’ll still be difficult for Michael to think about letting go of his Sonny grudge.
Next, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will hit the stop button and trap Carly in an elevator with her. That’ll give Liesl a captive audience and offer an opportunity to put Carly on full blast.
Carly will take what Obrecht dishes out, especially since Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud died following her decision to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) from “The Hook.”
Obrecht will rip into Carly for keeping Nina and Willow’s biological link a secret for so long.
Once Liesl gets all her anger out, she’ll plead with Carly to talk to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and convince her to accept Nina.
Carly will sit by Willow’s bedside and make a request later, so it seems she’ll go along with Liesl’s plea in the end.
That doesn’t mean Willow will bond with Nina right away, but she’ll at least consider the idea.
Finally, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will move forward with some updates to alter their original Maggie Fitzgerald search plan.
Sam will suggest taking the old-fashioned approach instead, so that’ll hopefully lead to finding Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) former nanny – or at least a more recent address for Maggie.
