The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, June 5, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) complimented Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) designs and shared some warm moments with him in the design office.
Ridge also admitted to Eric that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) confessed her feelings and wanted him back, but Eric argued that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was the love of Ridge’s life and always would be.
In the CEO office, Brooke continued ranting at Taylor for stabbing her in the back and trying to set her up with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) so Taylor could clear her own path to Ridge.
Taylor kept acting like she had good intentions, but Brooke pushed her to just be honest and admit what she was up to.
When Taylor argued that she valued Brooke and their friendship, Brooke let out an annoyed laugh.
Even so, Taylor insisted she’d never intentionally jeopardize their bond – though she added that it hurt when Brooke wasn’t honest about her concerns regarding Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Taylor also felt that Brooke was making Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) the villain again, so she had started to wonder what else Brooke was hiding – and that had everything to do with Ridge.
After Brooke ranted about Taylor matchmaking with Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers) and then Deacon, she felt foolish for even listening to her.
Brooke said Taylor took advantage of her trust and exclaimed over how she never thought her BFF would deceive her.
Although Brooke had been hurt by people she trusted in the past, she argued that nothing felt quite like this.
Brooke said Taylor had tossed their friendship aside like garbage and once again pushed her to be honest about wanting Ridge for herself.
Taylor finally confessed that she did want Ridge and added that they deserved each other.
As for Brooke and Ridge, Taylor didn’t think they were right for each other since they’d caused so much pain over the years.
Brooke wound up blasting Taylor over Hollis and Deacon once more as she declared that she didn’t need a dating service.
After Brooke said Taylor broke their pact and destroyed their friendship, she reminded Taylor of how she withheld the truth from Ridge before their last wedding.
Brooke guessed the Logan girls were just “sluts from the valley” in Taylor’s eyes, but Taylor reminded her those were Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) words instead of her own.
Taylor simply felt that Ridge should be with someone who didn’t upend his world every chance she got.
Once Taylor threw Brooke’s past in her face, Brooke decided she’d go to Ridge and tell him everything “Saint Taylor” had done.
Taylor grabbed Brooke to stop her, so they began shoving and tugging on each other as Ridge appeared. Ridge physically held Brooke back as he demanded to know what was going on.
Brooke shouted that Taylor stabbed her in the back and played her for a fool. Since Taylor used Brooke to get to Ridge, Brooke declared that their little pact was over!
At Il Giardino on Monday’s B&B episode, Deacon gave Hollis updates on how he asked Brooke for another chance and got rejected, so Hollis said he should join the club!
After Deacon admitted he never should’ve listened to Taylor, he mulled over her motives and predicted her friendship with Brooke was about to blow up.
