The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Thursday, May 18 – Deacon’s Psych 101 Analysis - Taylor Claims No More Ridge

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 18, reveals that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) assured Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he wasn’t matchmaking and just wanted to make sure Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was happy.

Once Brooke showed up, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) took off to check in with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) since this seemed like a mother-son conversation.

RJ quizzed Brooke about her pact with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and whether she wished she hadn’t made it, but Brooke insisted she didn’t have regrets.

After Brooke reflected on the pain Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had caused, RJ acknowledged that his dad had treated both Brooke and Taylor badly.

Although RJ supported Brooke’s independence, he only wanted that if it was Brooke’s choice. RJ wondered if Brooke still saw Ridge as her soulmate and destiny, so she felt he knew the answer to that.

However, Brooke maintained that she was happy with the pact she made and said she trusted Taylor completely.

At Il Giardino, Taylor gave Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) a therapy session and pep talk combo, which she called a “thera-pep talk.”

Based on Taylor’s “Psych 101 analysis,” she felt that Deacon suffered from low self-esteem and kept beating himself up over past mistakes and other women he’d been with.

Taylor also pinky-swore that she wasn’t using Deacon to get back together with Ridge and just wanted Deacon to live his best life.

Since Taylor felt that life could be with Brooke, she gushed over Deacon’s great qualities and felt he truly might have another shot with his ex.

Deacon seemed skeptical, but Taylor urged him to spend some time as a family with Brooke and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) – just to see if it might lead to something more.

Taylor reiterated that she wasn’t trying to create her own opportunity with Ridge, but she did see a sweet spark between Deacon and Brooke – one that could potentially turn into a wildfire.

In the jail visiting area on Thursday’s B&B episode, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) felt that Finn loved her deep down.

Finn ranted about how Sheila shot him, tried to kill Steffy and confessed to murder, so her future was prison now. Once Finn warned that there’d be no more letters or emails, he said he came to tell Sheila to leave his family alone.

Finn added that this would be the last time Sheila saw him and urged Sheila to try using this time to better herself behind bars.

Although Sheila called out and tried to stop Finn, he stormed out anyway and left her emotional. Sheila kept muttering how she’d see Finn again as she teared up and tried to reassure herself.

Once Finn met up with Steffy at Forrester Creations, he offered updates on his interaction with Sheila and said he just wanted to forget her completely.

After Sheila was taken back to her cell, she sulked and vowed to be free again with her son as well as his family.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Sheila’s dangerous promises tend to have catastrophic consequences, so stay tuned to see if terrible news is ahead!
