The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 26, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thanked John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) for finding a way to save Eric Forrester (John McCook), but he reminded her that Eric still had a long road ahead.
Even so, Steffy was grateful to Finn for giving Eric a second chance. As Steffy reflected on everything she was feeling for Finn, she admitted she’d never wanted to make love to someone more than she did right now.
Since Finn and Steffy were in his office, they opted to save the lovemaking for their private time at home.
Steffy also expressed concern for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) since he tends to internalize things when he’s scared or stressed, but she was glad Thomas had been able to lean on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) lately.
That said, Steffy was still concerned since Thomas was head over heels, but Steffy didn’t think Hope would ever reciprocate that love.
Finn suggested it was hard to blame Hope for that considering Thomas’ history, but Steffy felt like her brother had come a long way.
Now Steffy was worried that Hope would be too cavaliere with her feelings and that it would backfire on Thomas.
Finn had to get back to work, but Steffy thanked him for being her little miracle-worker first.
Steffy didn’t know what her family would ever do without Finn, so he assured her that she’d never have to find out.
In the design office at Forrester Creations, Hope reassured Thomas that Eric was fighting his way back to them and thought it was safe to breathe again.
Thomas didn’t know where he’d be without Hope’s support and got another pep talk about Eric coming back to them better than ever.
Later, Thomas told Hope that he loved her and said he could see how much she loved him in all the time they’d spent together and how close they’d become.
That told Thomas everything he needed to know, but Steffy eavesdropped and grew worried.
When Steffy entered and expressed her concern, Thomas insisted there was no need for it.
Although Steffy appreciated the support Hope had given Thomas, she questioned what kind of romance this was and wondered if it was really a good idea.
Thomas reminded Steffy that he had everything under control, but Steffy wasn’t so sure.
After Steffy said Thomas had been in love with Hope for a long time, she warned Hope not to lead him on or toy with his emotions.
Steffy added that Hope should be honest and demanded to know whether Hope loved Thomas or not.
In the main office on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Ridge worried to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that maybe Eric didn’t want to be there – that maybe he liked it on the other side after he flatlined.
Ridge also feared Eric would hate him for the decision to save him if his father didn’t come back with the full ability to do everything he loved.
Brooke assured Ridge that Eric would be grateful for this second chance, but Ridge flashed back to Eric after he first woke up and pointed out that he wasn’t smiling.
Brooke argued that Eric was adjusting to the whole situation and felt that Eric breathing on his own was proof that he wanted to come back to them.
Ridge ultimately thanked Brooke for being his rock and expressed his love before they shared a kiss.
