The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Wednesday, March 8 – Bill Not In Love with Sheila – Hints at Reason for Freeing Criminal

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 8, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) worried Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was causing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to doubt her and their relationship.

Bill insisted he knew Sheila was smarter than that and pointed out that she was dancing with the devil.

Sheila assured Bill that she knew exactly who he was and that was what drew her to him in the first place.

Bill said he gave up almost every relationship in his life for Sheila, so she replied that she’d never be able to repay that.

However, Bill didn’t need Sheila to repay him.

What Bill needed was for Sheila to be open and honest – for her to give him her total commitment, love and loyalty.

Sheila told Bill there was no need to question her loyalty since he saved her life and made her feel cherished, which was something she only could’ve dreamed of before now.

At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he looked pensive over the steamy time he just had with Sheila.

At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) realized Bill threatened to do something to Sheila if she ever crossed him, so she said that sounded like the old Bill.

Even so, Liam felt there was something off and couldn’t rest until he got answers.

Since Hope needed to get back to Forrester Creations anyway, she encouraged Liam to pay Bill another visit and see what he could find out.

Once Liam left, Hope looked anxious over the secret she was keeping about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) being the only one who could save her line.

Back at Bill’s place, Liam interrupted his father’s conversation with Sheila and asked to speak to him alone.

After Sheila was out of the room, Liam acknowledged that Bill was lonely and that he’d found solace with the worst person on the planet.

Liam asked if Bill would be with Sheila if Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) or Katie Logan (Heather Tom) had taken him back.

When Bill stayed silent, Liam took that was proof that his dad wasn’t living the life he wished he had.

With that in mind, Liam wondered how Bill could stand there and tell him that he loved Sheila.

Bill was a raging narcissist, but he wasn’t a monster like Sheila according to Liam.

If Bill was in his right mind and wasn’t being manipulated, then Liam couldn’t make sense of why he was with Sheila.

Bill admitted what he felt for Sheila was different than what he felt for Katie and Brooke, so Liam took that as confirmation that it wasn’t really love at all.

After Liam urged Bill to take off his sword necklace and send Sheila back to prison, Bill seemed frustrated and said he got her out for a reason.

Liam got fed up since he wasn’t getting any real info, so he insisted this wasn’t love and stomped out the door.

In the other room, Sheila answered Deacon’s phone call and warned that he shouldn’t be calling her.

Deacon asked why Sheila picked up then, but Sheila explained that Liam was there trying to convince Bill that she was playing him.

After Sheila reminded Deacon that what they did was crazy and dangerous, Deacon pointed out that it was also hot.

Sheila didn’t think Deacon was grasping what would happen if Bill found out, but Deacon said he couldn’t stop thinking about Sheila.

Although Sheila couldn’t stop thinking about Deacon either, she warned that they couldn’t do this anymore and said they couldn’t be in each other’s arms ever again.

Back with Bill, he touched his sword necklace and looked in the mirror. There was an ominous vibe as Sheila eventually snuggled up behind Bill and held him.

At Forrester Creations on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Thomas assured Brooke that he wasn’t trying to manipulate the situation or put himself back into Hope’s life.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) asked Thomas to rejoin the line, so he insisted he was taken aback.

Brooke’s main concern was for Hope since she worried Thomas could hurt her daughter again.

Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) knew that trust must be earned, but she hoped Brooke could give Thomas a chance to do that.

Thomas also pushed for an opportunity to redeem himself, but Taylor acknowledged that this was hard for Brooke and said she wouldn’t blame her if she walked out the door.

Taylor thought it was clear that Brooke wasn’t ready to give Thomas another chance, so she said they could respect that.

Brooke sought confirmation that Thomas didn’t see her as the enemy anymore, so he admitted therapy taught him to target the source of his trauma – and that wasn’t Brooke.

Thomas pointed out that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) left his family, but it was easier to blame Brooke than deal with that.

After Thomas talked about wanting to be a better person and make his mom proud, Taylor insisted she already was and hugged him.

Thomas just hoped that Brooke would let him show her that he was trustworthy so that Hope could trust him, too.

As Hope approached the office door, she overheard Thomas admitting to breaking her trust again and again.

Thomas said Hope was one of the most special people he’d ever met and felt her line was just as special, so he pushed Brooke to help him save it.

When Hope entered, Thomas said he was doing what Hope asked by apologizing to Brooke and begging her forgiveness.

Brooke admitted she could never forgive Thomas for changing the course of her life and affecting her marriage, but she also knew he was an amazing designer.

After Brooke said she couldn’t think of anybody who’d be better for Hope for the Future, she added that her real concern was Hope and the obsession Thomas had with her.

Taylor assured Brooke that she’d never support this if she thought for one second that Thomas was still obsessed. Thomas promised that he was turning the page and wanted to prove it.

For this to work, Brooke felt that Hope had to trust Thomas 100 percent, but she wasn’t sure that Hope could or that Liam would accept it.

Nevertheless, Brooke believed Thomas was being sincere and told Hope it was her decision whether Thomas belonged at Hope for the Future.

After Brooke insisted it was Hope’s decision alone, she left her daughter deep in thought.
