The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 24, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) demanded to know if Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was attracted to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so Hope had to explain away her earlier comments.
Hope insisted Thomas had been nothing but a professional gentleman and that he was a remarkable man in many ways.
After Hope said she had everything under control, Brooke wondered what that even meant!
Hope kept insisting nothing would interfere with her marriage and repeatedly assured Brooke that she was fine.
Once Hope said not to look for problems where there were none, she told Brooke there was no need to worry.
In the design office, Thomas suggested that Hope only attacked his character to placate Brooke.
Since Brooke didn’t mention anything about this, Taylor was upset over the deception and didn’t get why Brooke would be so suspicious.
Afterward, Taylor cornered Brooke alone and mentioned the conversation that Thomas overheard.
Brooke regretted that Thomas had to hear that and was sorry that Thomas got hurt, but Taylor questioned her sincerity.
Once Taylor asked what Brooke wasn’t telling her, Brooke admitted it was a good idea to communicate.
It was never Brooke’s intention to lie to Taylor, who was clearly fed up.
“How about you just don’t lie to me?” Taylor snapped on Wednesday’s B&B episode.
Brooke got honest and admitted she wasn’t 100-percent comfortable with Hope and Thomas working together, but Taylor insisted he wouldn’t do anything to interfere in her marriage.
At the cliff house, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was grateful that Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) wanted him to crash her girls’ night with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Kelly was excited to have cookies and howl at the man in the moon, so Liam and Steffy did some comical howling with her.
After Kelly talked about how much fun she had as a family with Steffy and Liam, she said she liked when they did things together.
Once Kelly was tucked in bed, Steffy and Liam reflected on when Kelly was born, which led to a sweet flashback.
Liam couldn’t wait until Kelly was old enough to understand how lucky she was to have a smart, successful mother, so Steffy exchanged a smile with him.
Back at Forrester Creations, Thomas struggled with a design that wasn’t quite right.
Hope wasn’t much help since she was distracted about what Thomas overheard earlier.
However, Thomas pushed Hope to let it go since he already had.
Hope talked about how optimistic and forgiving Thomas had become, but he basically gave Hope the credit for giving him so much forgiveness first.
Since it was getting late, Hope realized she’d better call Liam with updates.
Liam answered his phone while he was still at Steffy’s place and quickly grew irritated over Hope having to stay after-hours with Thomas again.
Hope tried to explain there’d been some setbacks, but Liam eventually gave her a “whatever” and told her to do her thing.
Once Liam said he’d talk to Hope at home, he hung up on her.
After Liam started ranting about Thomas, Steffy said maybe her brother wasn’t the problem this time.
Liam argued that he’d witnessed a weird vibe between Thomas and Hope, so Steffy reiterated that maybe Thomas wasn’t the problem.
Although Steffy didn’t want to hurt Liam, she confessed to suspecting that Hope had feelings for Thomas and caught her ex off guard.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy’s news will force Liam to deal with even more marriage drama, so stick with the CBS soap.
