The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Wednesday, October 18 – Finn Finds Out Poppy’s Mistake – Donna Snaps

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 18, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) worked on more fashion show preparations and worried about what it would do to Eric Forrester (John McCook) when he lost the competition.

Ridge was grateful that RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) was working with Eric, but he told Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) that he was going to beat the pants off both of them.

Although Eric wanted to come back and run the company again, Ridge insisted it didn’t work like that now that he was in charge. Instead, Ridge felt like Eric should be relaxing and off living his life.

Brooke was eager for the competition to be over and hoped Ridge would remember how much he loved Eric in the midst of all this.

Ridge indeed loved Eric, but he acted like this grand finale was pointless and expected Eric to put out a similar collection in a few years since he wasn’t going anywhere.

At the Forrester mansion, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) grew frustrated over the lack of answers regarding Eric’s condition.

Dr. Colin Colby (Justiin Davis) listened to Eric’s heart and warned that Eric’s bouts of coughing up blood were very serious.

Eric refused to drop his legacy line or ditch the fashion competition, but Dr. Colby was concerned over the added stress.

Donna agreed that Eric needed to back down from this challenge, but Eric grew angry and shouted that nothing was going to stop him – not even his doctor.

Donna complained about not having a diagnosis yet and seemed irritated as she suggested maybe they should get a second opinion.

After Donna apologized for overstepping, Dr. Colby insisted he understood since we’d do anything for the people we love.

Once Dr. Colby said he’d be in touch with more updates soon, he headed out.

Eric assured Donna that he wasn’t mad at her for calling Dr. Colby, but this competition was something he had to do.

After Eric made a speech about his need to create beauty, he told Donna that it was who he was as a man and an artist.

Donna eventually declared that she was with Eric 100 percent, so he asked if that was “’til the end” and had her echo it back to him.

Eric and Donna shared a kiss before looking into each other’s eyes tenderly.

In the Forrester Creations design office, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) brought RJ a honeydew drink and once again thanked him for defending her to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).

RJ also thanked Luna since he’d been able to open up to her about Eric’s condition. Luna assured RJ that the secret was safe since she wouldn’t say a word.

Later, RJ struggled over the fact that he couldn’t share the news of Eric’s condition with Ridge, so Luna offered support and pulled him into a hug.

At the hospital on Wednesday’s B&B episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) pushed for info on the bad blood between Li and Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), so Li admitted that her sister almost ruined her career.

Li explained that she got Poppy a job at the hospital gift shop and tried to give her steady work.

Poppy slept with the chief surgeon until his wife found out, which led to Li paying the price.

Li insisted she was blamed since she got Poppy the job in the first place. It wasn’t long until Li suddenly started losing shifts and then she had to transfer to another hospital altogether.

After Li said she refused to let Poppy and Luna destroy her life again, she added that she didn’t want them destroying Finn’s life either.

Li grumbled over Poppy living a life that was so free and easy with no regard for their parents or how her sister had suffered.

As Li ranted about it being unfair, Finn listened and still looked a bit confused.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there may be more to the story, so stay tuned to see if Li’s hiding a far worse secret!
