The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will throw Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) into more turmoil when he launches a custody battle. It turns out Thomas will shock Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) when he seeks full custody of Douglas and refuses to back down.
Once it becomes obvious that Thomas isn’t willing to negotiate on this, Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will have no choice but to go before a judge.
This will become a matter that’s decided in court, so all parties involved will want to be careful about how they handle it with Douglas.
Judge Gomez (Jill Remez) will be in charge of this case, so she’ll hear from both sides and try to figure out what’s best.
However, Douglas is old enough to weigh in on what he wants, so his opinion will become a crucial factor.
That’ll put Douglas in a difficult position since he won’t want to disappoint anybody.
Douglas will need plenty of reassurance that no one’s going to be mad or upset with him – no matter what he decides.
In the end, Thomas and Hope may understand that it has to be Douglas’ choice.
Will Douglas choose to live with Hope and Liam full-time at the cabin or could he pick Thomas instead?
Thomas will presumably get his own place or convince Eric Forrester (John McCook) to let him live at the Forrester mansion again.
That could give Douglas another reasonable option for his living situation, but the most important thing is who he’ll be living with.
B&B fans have picked up on Douglas being a bit standoffish with Liam lately.
Douglas also seems eager to spend time more at the cliff house instead of the cabin, so maybe the show’s been offering hints about him not being truly happy at the “Lope” house.
Does that mean Douglas will choose Thomas over Hope and leave his adoptive mom devastated?
Although Hope would certainly try to hide her pain, it would still be a crushing blow.
Of course, it’s also possible Douglas will stick with Hope and continue to punish Thomas’ manipulative behavior, but he’ll have to make a decision either way.
