The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there could be a new schemer in town! Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) knows he’s on thin ice since he’s been given so many chances to prove himself.
That’s why Thomas seems like he’s genuinely trying to make his latest redemption attempt stick.
Thomas is in therapy and has even vowed to bow out of the line if Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) decision to bring him back causes problems in her marriage.
Although there’s always going to be something about Thomas that feels sneaky, he does seem like he’s trying to dial it down.
After the dialogue in the March 14 episode, maybe we should be more worried about Douglas and the possibility that he’ll follow in Thomas’ troublemaker footsteps.
For the most part, Douglas has been a perfect little angel throughout his years on B&B.
Now that Thomas is finally on the right path, what if Douglas heads down the wrong one?
It’d be an interesting way to shake things up and put a fresh spin on the usual Thomas manipulation story.
Instead of Thomas’ scheming causing problems, maybe his example will finally rub off on his young son.
Douglas knew it was wrong for Thomas to interfere in Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), but now he’s rooting for Hope and Thomas to be together.
Thomas reminded Douglas that they had to respect Hope’s relationship with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), but Douglas would still prefer to live with both Hope and Thomas.
Douglas’s greatest wish is to be a “real family” with his parents, so that dream could lead to trouble.
Will Douglas get fixated on this idea – much like Thomas was fixated on Hope and his own dream of becoming a united family?
We’re starting to see some potential red flags in Douglas’ behavior, so maybe B&B writers are going somewhere with this.
Instead of having Thomas manipulate Douglas and blowing things up as a result, maybe Douglas will carry out the manipulation himself and do some damage on his own.
Whatever the case, Douglas obviously wants Thomas and Hope to be a couple under one roof.
With that in mind, we should consider the notion that Douglas might sabotage Hope’s marriage to Liam and try to make his dream a reality.
