The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, August 18, reveal that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will have a lot to mull over as Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) birthday party winds down.
Liam and Hope have been bombarded with warnings about how their divorce will affect Beth and pleas for them to work through their problems.
Hope eventually looked a little conflicted, especially after RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) fought so hard for a “Lope” reunion.
However, Liam is adamant that he can’t forgive Hope for what happened with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) – and he doesn’t even know she took Thomas to bed!
If Liam is acting like this over a kiss, he certainly couldn’t get past the mental image of Hope and Thomas sleeping together.
Thomas isn’t even the real problem anymore now that Liam has declared his love for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Liam has been downplaying his relationship with Hope and acting like she was just some kind of placeholder for Steffy.

Since it’s clear Steffy is the only woman Liam wants at this point, there’s just no logical path to a Liam and Hope reunion right now. If B&B tries to undo all the damage they’ve done, there’s zero chance of it making sense.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Liam will discuss their relationship privately, so that’ll lead to Hope taking a fearless stand. It sounds like Hope will hold firm on believing Steffy would always be an issue if they stayed together.
Liam will make a surprising confession, so he may admit that Hope’s right about his lingering love for Steffy and how his perspective has changed.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Liam will absolve Hope of guilt since he still blames her for torpedoing their marriage with that make-out session in Rome.
That said, Liam might acknowledge that he’s starting to realize he buried things he shouldn’t have buried regarding Steffy and what he wanted.
Other B&B spoilers point to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) lecturing John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) again soon and reminding him of what he has to do regarding Steffy.
Li might pop back up at the cliff house on Friday’s episode to give Finn more advice about fighting for his marriage.
Naturally, rule number one is keeping Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) away, but can Finn keep his promise to Steffy when it comes to his birth mother?
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will hope for good news, but he’ll worry he might get some negative updates instead if Steffy extends the separation even further.
