The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Naomi Matsuda will reprise the role of Li Finnegan on July 27, so that’ll give Li a chance to catch up with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and offer a warning.
B&B fans know Li is Finn’s adoptive mother and the only real mom he’s ever known. Li showered Finn with attention and adoration from the moment she began raising him as a baby.
Finn adores Li as well, so it’s bizarre for the show to suddenly act like Finn’s so desperate for deranged Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) love.
Ever since Finn learned what Sheila was capable of, he’s always insisted Li was his true mother and the only one he needed.
Nevertheless, something’s shifting inside Finn whether he wants it to or not.
Finn embraced Sheila during his jail visit for her pre-trial exam – and then he hugged her back after the charges against her were dropped, too.
Of course, it’s doubtful Finn will reveal those hugs to Li! Deep down, Finn has to know that it’s crazy for him to encourage Sheila like this – not to mention he doesn’t want to hurt Li’s feelings.
Li would indeed be hurt if she knew Finn was now drawn to Sheila, who was nearly responsible for the demise of Li, Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
You can bet Li will be outraged over the news of Sheila’s freedom, so she may warn Finn to keep his distance from his biological mother.
Li may feel like it’s only a matter of time until Sheila gets herself thrown back in jail, but she’ll surely urge Finn to be careful until then.
The last thing Li would want is for anything to happen to Finn and his wonderful little family.
As for Sheila and Li, it’d be fun to see another showdown between them now that Sheila’s no longer an inmate.
Sheila is free to live her life, but Li could easily corner her and make it clear that life won’t include Finn.
However, Sheila finally has hope when it comes to winning Finn over, so she won’t let Li or anyone else stand in her way!
